If Cruz hadn't been clearly superior in the grappling then I think it goes to Benavidez.

I was actually surprised. What the fuck is Cruz doing getting outstruck by someone with much shorter reach?

I'll tell you who impressed me with his ability to slip punches and shit, and that was actually Pickett. Especially in the first round.

cruz just refuses to use his jab, he trys to use his speed. It works for most guys but bena obviously had a counter this time, that kept the fight competitive. I think cruz clearly won that fight and the 48-47 benavidez is crazy imo.

Good point with his jab. I think eventually someone is going to time his nonsense and sidestep and crush him.

48-47 isn't so crazy. Rounds 2, 3, and 5 were extremely close. I thought 1 and 4 were clearly Cruz.

I gave 4 rounds to Cruz. I clearly gave him 3 rounds so personally I cant see 48-47 Benavidez either

Lucky? Torres spent his life racking up wins against middling competition. He got a real run for his money with Mizugaki, and Miz has been good but not great in his recent fights. The comp's got better. That's all there is to it. Bowles knocked his ass out.
