Re: Bellator 28
Yeah Horwich is live.
I am thinking about Clementi too... if he comes in shape, he shouldn't have any trouble with Vanier.2012: +19.33

Re: Bellator 28
Vanier is a basically a wrestler. He has some very middling standup, but no power. I bet him as a dog to Imada, because I thought he could sprawl and brawl Imada. he was slightly "winning" the standup with Imada before he willingly went to the ground with a takedown and got subbed promptly.
I see Clementi as an underrated fighter. When he shows up, he is pretty good. I think he has a small striking edge, due to his versatility and experience. And he has the ability to take down wrestlers (see Anthony Johnson). He also has a an underrated guard game IMO. Anywhere the fight goes, Vanier is going to struggle. Rich could beat him striking, put him on his back, or sweep or sub him from guard. Bonus is that Vanier is tiny and Rich is huge @ 155.
Vanier was a Juco AA in wrestling @ 149. So his only plausible out is to win a top control decision... but Clementi was moving Maynard around in half guard, and I just don't think Vanier is going to be able to control him.
The guys Vanier has beat carry a combined record of 37-49 (with the best record being Duarte @ 5-2). He has only beaten 3 guys with wining records (and even then, not good guys). He is 3-3 against .500 competition.

Re: Bellator 28
I'm gonna be watching the Auburn game and the Saints game, and FSN isn't even showing Bellator. I may pop it on the laptop.
BTW, scheduling Bellator in New Orleans on the same night as the home opener for the Saints is probably one of the worst marketing decisions of all time. Expect a ghost town.Triple-six killers in this motherfucker runnin shitComment
