Did you watch the fight? I didn't watch the fight. I read the play by play and I got the impression that Pearson clinched him the whole time and it was close.

I did watch it. I actually had money on Siver.

From what I remember, that's not really an accurate description. There was some clinching and some scrambles, but it was mostly a kickboxing match, and Siver was just one step behind most of the time.

It was close, but a clear win for Pearson.

I don't care what Siver used to be, his striking ain't all that in MMA. It just seems preposterous that he'll TKO George in 8 seconds if he stands with him. I'm sure he can more than hold his own.

I don't know that I'd say "preposterous." It's certainly possible. Siver caught Winner in the first round and rocked his shit bad enough to rush in and get the choke. Could that punch have done the same to George?
