Neither could pretty much anyone on the roster other than GSP or Jake Shields. For a guy who has a history of Cardio issues I think he looked pretty good after two grueling rounds with a known grinder.

Well, I see where you're coming from, I wouldn't say he looked "good" after the first two rounds. If Penn had tried the hummingbird route instead, he wouldn't have had as many issues with cardio. Who knows if he could have pulled it off, though? And if it didn't work, he would have lost his chance to come out of the gate strong and win the first round.

And BJ came in 7 pounds lighter. That's not "much larger."

Credit for what? He got a draw against someone much smaller than him ,thats nothing to write home about .Not only that he let Penn take him down multiple times.

Wow, look at the second round. They've got Fitch outstriking Penn 59/18. And I wouldn't be so surprised about about 2 of 3 judges giving that to Penn had it not been for the fact that I thought their earlier scoring had a strong element of "punch-counting" to it.

Yeah I read that he was about 176 the day before. That might of been a stage in a cut but the article wasn't really stating that. He is on a new diet that has made him a lot slimmer. He was definetly much larger than BJ though and incredibly cut. He has probably lost a couple pounds of fat. Not that he was fat before.

BJ did look good in the beginning. I don't know if it was BJ gassing or what at the end. It looked like he was really stuck up against that cage though he did look a little despondent. I can't tell.
