I don't think BJ wants to fight anymore. He has said after him MMA career is over, he is going to get back on the sport jj circuit.

Yeah, I really got that vibe from the speech he gave there at the end. It just sounded like, "Well if I lost this fight I was going to retire, but since the gods were... 'good'... to me, I guess I'll have to keep going." I'm not saying he wanted to lose, but it looked like the draw was emotionally crushing for him, like he just wanted a sign one way or the other so he would know what to do with his life and the draw was the exact opposite of that.

If he had been able to continue at the same pace in the third then he probably would've won the fight. He couldn't. It's the same thing that happened with GSP.

Neither could pretty much anyone on the roster other than GSP or Jake Shields. For a guy who has a history of Cardio issues I think he looked pretty good after two grueling rounds with a known grinder.

Clearly the BJ who came out for the first two rounds was a world away from the BJ in the third.

Other WW fighters like Mike Pierce, on the other hand, still were able to hold their own into the third round.
