Gotta say I'm very impressed by Henderson though, he seems almost "unfinishable". Amazing sub-defense and chin.
I don't know where Pettis's ceiling is, guy's only 23! What I love most about him is he went for the matrix kick with a minute in a half left, rounds are tied, and biggest fight of his life. Most would've maybe gone for a takendown and cross their fingers the judges would be in their favor. Respect
What a jack ass. That card was great, top to bottom. The Cruz fight was the only lackluster fight for me. It looks like the undercard was great too, a whole bunch of finishes. I don't know what he is saying about Cerrone, Horodesci is a really good fighter, no shame in taking 1.5 whole rounds to finish him off. Horodesci has beaten a lot of really solid 155ers, so no need to be at 135 imo.
This guy needs Rogan to give him the Rios treatment.
For sure. Cerrone has a nice triangle and his wrestling has improved, but Miller is at a much higher level overall, I don't think it would be that close grappling, Miller would own him on the mat. Cerrone has better striking though, and better wrestling so Miller would have to figure out how to get it down and keep it there.
I would actually like to see that fight. Would be a good first fight for Cerrone.
I got Faber again. Cruz looked good out there, but at some point he is going to get flattened with his chin up in the air and his hands down. Benevidez was getting some licks in, I think Faber can hold his own striking.
