I like how you discredit Mir's win against CC, even though CC was coming off a win over a vaunted striker himself. Mir was scared, and then he KO'd him. He also dropped Kongo and Nog pretty impressively. I have been hating on Mir for years... but I can give credit where it is due. His striking has improved...

Remember that time when Schaub fought Roy Nelson? Gonzaga was washed up and then Schaub fought two guys that should have never been in the UFC. See, I can give a biased POV too.

I think you are remembering Schaub's showing against GG much more impressively than it actually happened. Schaub had a nice first round, then did quite a bit of doing nothing himself. he had a couple of nice showings against Tucherer and Ghormley. But as far as fighting Mir-level opposition, he is 1-1 with a KO loss and a points win.

For me, its the two styles that make me wanna take Schaub. I just think Mir will get tore up standing, and wont get Schaub down.

Not biased, just realistic. Like how I am able to realistically look at the CC-Barry fight for what it was. CC getting his ass kicked and then getting lucky that Barry broke 25% of the bones in his body. Look, I know you are going to think what you want, but to think Mir is some sort of a good striker because of the Nog fight, and one punch on Kongo seems stretching it to me.

I was in here defending Mir against Cro cop against many of you(if my memory serves me right), but I was shocked at how bad and slow Mir looked against a Cro Cop who I believe is all but washed up.

You go right ahead and bet Mir here, who will surely be a favorite against the younger Schaub who was KO'd by Nelson.

Well then if he is 1-1 against Mir level competition, he should be a damn good bet as a dog.

^ yeah, as a good sized dog. I just don't think he will win.

I think Mir will outstrike Schaub. Obviously, he has the ground advantage, also.

                    Re: Murr vs Schaub

Mir clearly has the advantage in this fight but Schaub does have a path to victory.
