Fedor was on top for 10 years... He is the greatest fighter of all time at this point. But no one reigns forever. I swear I saw some relief on his face, like a little smile that said "I am finally free."
Anyway, I don't think SF considered the fact that every HW fight was going to end in the first round. They really need to get the ability to adjust on the fly during the broadcast like the UFC does.
I was sad to see Fedor go out like that to Bigfoot... but time marches on. Poor SF, they can't win. They pay out the rear for Fedor, agree to co-promote with M1, and then Fedor goes out and loses twice in a row and then retires. They better hope upon hope that Overeem beats Werdum.2012: +19.33

Bigfoot has better standup than Werdum though, and it looks like he has resolved his gas issues. Bigfoot sort of kicked Werdum's ass in round 1 of their fight, he gassed and Werdum started taking him down in round 2. I actually think Bigfoot will beat Werdum in a rematch.
I am still not convinced that Overeem is that good, personally. He hasn't beaten anyone very good to earn all his hype.2012: +19.33

Yeah he will probably have trouble getting it there but IF he does he can end the fight there. Bigfoot isn't nearly as deadly on the ground as werdum so I am not too worried that if he takes Overeem down he is going to sub him. That's what it comes down to for me. They both lose the standup to Overeem but only one has a huge advantage on the ground.1 unit = 300 $Comment
