I hope I come out ahead on this event.. I would really want to break even by after ufc 129. I started looking at nba again this week now that playoffs are coming and teams seem to care more. Made 3u this week on nba so things seem to be going good

That is sort of baffling to me Scientist. You seem to be the most knowledgeable guy on here. What's going on over there? Are you spending the same amount of time as you used to?

Thanks, I don't that I deserve that compliment though. I am having an identity crisis... I keep making stupid plays because I hate losing. I am actually up 15 units (30%) over the last 2 months, so I am actually doing pretty well. I just dug myself in a big hole to start the year doing stupid crap and messing around with my system and it took me a minute to climb out of it. I definitely slacked off on my research and breakdowns and just started going with who I though should win. I am back to doing the work the last few months and I am back to winning. It is actually somewhat amazing that I am ahead at all given some of the retarded plays I have made. I still think I and will clear 25u this year though, which is always my goal (a 50% ROI). If I can make 12u I will be happy though.

The other side of it is that a lot of stuff is happening at work, I am opening up a second office in another city and I am way busier than I used to be.

Also I am somewhat deceptive because I have been investing in the stock market (even tried my hand somewhat successfuly at Forex trading) and have been gambling playing poker for a while... so I can talk the talk. But I am still an action junkie at heart, I hate losing and I like action. I try to fight my nature, but I lose the battle a lot. So I sometimes sound like I know what I am talking about, but I really don't.

Your definitely the most knowledgeable guy here IMO, I think it boils down to betting discipline more than anything.

Maybe. I need to see Waldburger's hands a little. Hendricks likes to bang and only goes to the ground to score really, he doesn't generally fight there unless he has to. I want to see if Waldburger can hurt him standing. If not, I will be on Hendricks.

Any thoughts on Miranda / Simpson? I haven't started researching in earnest yet, but I'm thinking there might be value on Miranda.

here is the convo that was had about it yesterday to get you started:

When I looked at some of his fights, he was looking to have really really good jiu jitsu and also good striking.
He looked bad agains't Gerald Harris and really bad agains't Maia.
I had money on him over Maia because I tougth he would just wrestle him for 3 rounds, and his jiu jitsu was good enough to not get cought by Maia for 3 rounds.
The problem is that his wrestling is not that good. IMO this is the only thing I would want to know, is if his wreslting is good enough to not get down over and over again by simpson, or will he be able to get simpson down. To that question, I have no answer.

Opening a second office, business must be good. As per your bets, I don't know what to tell ya. I am doing well but I have to imagine I will take some sizable hits this year. I am betting fairly large. My units are based off my original bankroll so they are constant at 40 bucks. I am getting close to doubling it now. I am just betting big when I think someone should win and I am using parlys well. Lots of resear@ch and mulling it over long term.
                                1 unit = 300 $
