It was a sound strategy actually. Last time they fought Garcia always got the worst of the wild exchanges. If I remember right he got dropped like twice in those brawling slugfest like exchanges and almost got choked out in the aftermath of one. Staying calm was Garcia's only shot. Only Garcia didn't follow the gameplan and thats when he got dropped, again.
