Killed himself or maybe murdered? Maybe he wanted to prosecute buy Sandusky threatened/blackmailed him. Penn State probably runs Central PA and Sandusky probably had alot of power. Suicide is probably more likely.

I've never seen the book, but I think I saw him in a debate with Dawkins once. He didn't say anything I thought was particularly interesting (or for that matter, hadn't heard a dozen times before). It all seems like such desperate rationalization to me.

Still, I suspect the book would give you a fairly typical example of the point-of-view of a respected religious scientist.

I've read the introduction and the first chapter, in which he discusses exactly what it was that carried him from atheism to theism. I have to say though that I'm not overly impressed with his reasoning. I was hoping that it was something unique, but basically he says he read C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity and then thought about the shit a lot and ultimately ended up converting to Christianity in his 20s.

Pretty soon we're going to get into all the science shit though so maybe it will prove to be thought-provoking.
