BJ was seemingly unstoppable at LW when Edgar beat him. He had only lost at 155 to Pulver, and that's because Pulver was saved by the bell in the first (?) round when BJ had him in an armbar, and it still ended up being a majority decision that could've gone either way.

Maynard's best win is Edgar, but that was a while back, and I think that the second fight proved that whatever hole it was that allowed Maynard to dominate him the first time has been filled.

So I don't necessarily think that Maynard should be THAT far behind Edgar, but I can see why they put Edgar ahead.
