I was 19 and my girlfriend was 17. She was also a crazy fucking bitch and her mom was even crazier. But long story short, I went to drop her off at her house one night, and she called me right after I let her out to say that she was locked out of her house. So I went back, picked her up, and ended up getting a hotel room for the night (I was still living at home and for damn sure couldn't take her back to my dad's house).

I took her home the next day, but apparently not before her mom had called the police. I got a call from a sergeant with the police department the next day and he told me that the only reason I wasn't going to jail was because her mom wasn't going to press charges. I will say this: The crazy bitch of a mother never liked me and I for damn sure never liked her, but I have always appreciated that she wasn't SO goddamn crazy that she had me put in jail just to fuck with me.

UK season 1>anything Scranton branch will ever achieve.

I've only seen a few episodes of the UK version, and I remember liking it, but it didn't impact me in the way that the US version has.

The UK version is good, and the US version tried to mimic it at first, but it's become it's own entity now. It's possible to enjoy both separately, provided you leave your smug, elitist, hipsterism at the door.
