Hey, PP.
I'm thinking of taking a few weeks to switch up my workout routine and, instead of doing my usual split where I hit each bodypart once a week, I'll do an upper/lower split where I hit my entire upper body twice a week, and my lower body once.
You have any thoughts on that?I heart cockComment

Looks fine to me, but I really think if you are trying to bodybuild you should stick to something like:Hey, PP.

Day 1-chest/tris
Day 2-back/bis
Day 3-Off
Day 4-Legs
Day 5-Shoulders/arms
Day 6-Off
Day 7-OffComment

That's basically what I've been doing. Something happened the other day that got me thinking, though. I missed my Monday workout and basically created a hybrid workout for Wedesday that hit my Wednesday bodyparts (biceps/triceps) and also my Monday bodyparts (chest and back). I liked the way my body responded.
Then I found these article on T-Nation that I've been reading through:
I'll probably do some experimenting.I heart cockComment

Yeah, the training split doesn't really matter. Just hit the muscles 1-2x a week and have a good diet and you will be fine. You should just do steroids and attain a Sean Sherk physique. (I used Sherk because I know you guys are the same height or so)Comment

That's the real question, should I hit them once or twice? Usually if I'm sore it's gone a few days before I roll back around to my workout day for that particular bodypart, so I think my body has already recovered well ahead of time and could probably handle having everything hit twice a week.
Re: Sherk. I actually used to really admire Sherk's physique--and still do--but I think there's something a little off-putting about it now. He looks kind of blocky. That may be because he has a blocky ass neck and head, though.
If I had to pick one lighter-weight guy that I wanted to look like (minus the fact that he's shorter than me), it would be Faber at 145. Dude is super defined and thick as fuck. I've always liked Satoru Kitatoka's physique, as well.I heart cockComment
