Not sure if anyone here is familiar with Ben Mezrich, but he's the guy who wrote Bringing Down the House (which the movie 21 was based on ) and The Accidental Billionaires (which was made into The Social Network).

Here's an interesting article I ran across in case anyone's interested. It was written in '08, around the time 21 came out, so it deals with his earlier works.

I like the books; I have read all of them because I am a huge nerd. The HBO series looks like it's going to be pretty well done. The first episode was good.

I watched episode 1 last night. I thought it was pretty good. Interesting concept. I'm coming to it as a complete novice, having never even heard of the book series.
