Yeah I have seen it a couple times a few years back. I liked it at the time. Walken was a badass as usual

It's an interesting film. Good shootouts.

I just finished "Blood Simple" last night. It is one of the Coen Bros first flicks (maybe the first). I like their other stuff a lot (No Country, Fargo, The Man who Wasn't There)... so i decided to check it out. Has a lot of similarities to both Fargo and No Country, you could really see how that have improved, but the same mood setting and simple story telling is still there. Really good movie IMO, especially for the time (1984)

I saw it not that long ago. I like MOST of the Coen's stuff, though it varies a lot. I thought Bloodsimple was interesting and good, but more interesting as a lesson in history than anything else, which I think you were kind of alluding to. Not sure if I would go out of my way to watch it again.

Fargo, however, is a masterpiece that belongs in anyone's collection.

Speaking of movies I picked up The Fast and the Furious and Tokyo Drift today on Blu-Ray.

$13 a piece. I had actually hit up like 3 other places looking for them at decent prices and everyone wanted like $22 or something. I'm excited.

BTW some dumbass tried to kill everyone on the road last night by going left of center into oncoming traffic when I was on my way home but luckily he only ended up killing himself . I was the first one to reach the wreck from the direction I was traveling
