yeah, if I am with some friends or something... but I don't go out of my way to gamble. It can be fun in small doses on rare occasions, but I have an expectation of losing my very small stake when I play though.
the only thing I actually want to play in a casino is poker.Comment

^^ that is exactly the way I feel about it. The day I don't think I have an edge in MMA, that is the day I will never bet again.2012: +19.33

Yeah I hear you. Your really into math, it seems like that is part of the fun for you. I personally look at it as a hobby/something to make money. I kinda hope it could be a major source of income some day but I am starting to doubt it. FYI, the greek and Bet Jamaica have moved out of the United States. I was thinking about signing up with the Greek to up my plays/bankroll but I am wary of putting anymore money in. I withdrew some cash from 5dimes already. I am worried our gambling days will come to an end. I hope not, it will have made this a big waste of time for me. I will have acquired a skill that I cannot use anymore.1 unit = 300 $Comment

^^ It won't die. There is too much money to be made, the books will always find a way. I used to play poker a lot online, back in like 2003-2005. Then the feds cracked down and Neteller stopped taking U.S. transactions. But a whole slew of different funding methods popped up. PartyPoker closed, but you can obviously still play poker online (I just played on 5D last week). You can't stop the internet. It may get more difficult, but it won't die.
The issue is that it may be more risk or trouble than you are willing to take... that is where I am at. If 5D and BM stop taking U.S. action, I am probably done. I may look into hiring a Vegas runner if my bankroll can justify it. Or maybe try to find someone in or near Vegas to form a team so they can place the bets.2012: +19.33

I would hate to think what would happen if I were caught. Who knows. As far as a bank account goes, I would think I could get one. One way or another. There are a lot of options for things like that. A utility bill would be hard to come by. However I think you only need to provide one once. So a short term apartment rental to provide a utility bill might work. Then a bank account, probably a couple of them. Then an IP number from Canada. I was thinking maybe an internet capable phone purchases in Canada...thats the best I can think of.

I don't know why you would get into trouble. It is legal in Canada as far as I know... the American government doesn't care what you do in Canada. You could get in trouble for taxes of course though. I have been up to Windsor a couple times, pretty good fun. They didn't give me any trouble coming over.
I don't know why you would need a utility bill. 5d and BM allow me to use a private mail box. It has a street address, but it is just a bunch of boxes. I asked them about it before I signed up and they said it was fine. But if you need one for whatever reason, it seems like it would be a little troublesome to get one unless you have friends in Canada. But it could be done.
A bank account should be easy. You could do that online.
All of that said, it could be worth it to get access to Pinnacle if you stake was large enough. If I was considering going to all that trouble, it would have to be something I was quite serious about earning an income from.2012: +19.33
