I bet on Woodley. I really don't think Tarec will be able to stop the takedown. His previous fights shows he can handle wrestlers recently, but lettuce be reality, these guys aren't no Tyrone Woodley. Larson looked like he didn't even want to be there in that fight. Woodley's toughest fight was against another wrestler (Coy) but I think he handled himself well until he got tired. I don't see Tarec winning unless it is by one of those flash KOs, or lighting up Woodley late in the fight if he gasses. I don't think he will gas though, I think his fight with Coy is going to play out way differently then the fight on Friday.
I am looking at Julia Budd/Amanda Nunes right now. Budd is some Muay Thai big shot who is the only person to ever beat Gina Carano in a Muay Thai fight. She looked good against Shana Olsen, and was actually doing better in the grappling department. Nunes is a fighter from Brazil..she is aggressive but on the feet she is going to get stomped imo. She just throws a bunch of punches like a girl (
) and is pretty wild. At first I thought she was going to be some great grappler from Brazil that would work to get this to the ground (this still may be the case) because there are videos of an Amanda Nunes at the Pan Ams and other BJJ tourneys, but I do not think this is the Nunes that is fighting this weekend. From all of the interviews with Nunes I have been reading, there has been no mention of her being a BJJ whiz/competitor. If anybody knows exactly if that is her in the BJJ tourneys or not, that would be cool. Budd is going to be the bigger fighter/better striker/probably a lot stronger as well. I am just not sure if Nunes has that much of a grappling edge to bring a bigger opponent down.

6u on Salter/Cormier to win 3u- I know that Casey Huffman... he is not going to have anything for Salter (He is a purple belt in bjj, and he is near my weight, I have only narrowly missed competing against him--- tbh I think I could beat him). Dan Head (guy eliminated on TUF by Lentz) is also out of that bjj school, who is also a purple belt. Head was a white belt in 2007, because I remember watching him dominate everyone at the Indiana Championships (which I also won at my weight class as a wb) and thinking I was going to meet him in the wb open.
You could really unload on Salter here, IMO. Don't see how he can beat Salter.2012: +19.33

I should mention that Huffman sees himself as a striker first... but he doesn't have a wrestling base or anything. I don't think he can stop Salter from taking him down. And all his fights have been regional fights where striking is usually in short supply (if you guys have ever gone to small shows it is 90% grapplers IME).2012: +19.33

Can't find much on this guy that Rhadi is fighting... but he was a wrestler, he is 1-1. He is going to have to be a damn fine wrestler to beat Rhadi. Monson and Rhadi had some battles in ADCC, and Monson (a PAC-10 champion)... Ferguson is a real badass. His grappling is top notch and he is a power house.
Screw it, he is going to win. Going to add Ferguson/Cormier or maybe Ferguson/Woodley...2012: +19.33

Found a little info on John Richards... he is a big guy, and a DII AA wrestler. He still is not going to have anything for Rhadi though... Rhadi is very powerful and he is more of an "ugly judo" player (he shoots on the legs like a wrestler). But he has a good guard too in the off chance he gets taken down. All I know is he hit an effortless foot sweep on Monson in ADCC... He is professional trainer and does insane workouts, he is going to have a cardio edge too (and the other guy is coming in on short notice). Rhadi is going to win by submission or TKO in the first round. Richard's only chance is to blitz him before he gets taken down. He might be able to stuff Rhadi for a minute, but not for long. I don't think he wants to be on the ground with Rhadi, even if Rhadi is on bottom (though Rhadi probably can't submit him from there, he can reverse him).2012: +19.33
