Do we know Ellebergers wrestling is better than Piersons?

Just re-watched Pierson/Riddle. It was closer than I remembered it. First round is clearly Pierson, but I think Riddle probably deserved the second. The third was very close. I guess Pierson deserved it since he did a better job counterstriking, but Riddle had his moments and Pierson was visibly gassing.

Pierson did a decent job wrestling, but Riddle really didn't go for a lot of takedowns and Riddle did outwrestle him at the end of the second.

If the Ellenberger that fought Condit and Pyle shows up, Pierson might die. If it's the Ellenberger that fought Rocha and Howard, it will be closer, but even then I favor him.

Pierson's best asset seems to be his striking. He's pretty accurate with his punches and throws a lot of shots. So Ellenberger will hopefully not waste his time boxing in what could lead to a close decision. Instead he should go to his wrestling at every opportunity and I think it will be a clear-cut 30-27 in his favor.

PP set up an IWS chatroom the other day. Everyone else refused to come in, though.

We talked about parlays in our chat session the other day. Remember? It was when you offered your e-buttocks to me.

Are you asking, better boxer or better striker? Because they're not the same thing.

Thanks. I saw that he was down to -350 at Sportsbook and said fuck it. I've always said that GSP would beat Shields, even in the past when the match was just a fantasy in our minds. So I'm going to stick to that.

I sure as hell do not think getting tagged in all of your previous fights by inferior fighters to Aldo as having better striking.

I think it is typical Tompkins mindset. The guy now believes his boxing is better than it really is.

Hominick's head is getting deflated big time Saturday.
Yeah, I don't buy it either.
