yeah... well, it is not going to hit. I mean, some of the favorites are going to lose as well. It won't even get past Saturday most likely. I have never placed a lottery type bet, I just wanted to see what it looked like since we were talking.

edman, I really don't know. I sort of doubt that they would pay it tbh... but they couldn't just dishonor it either. My guess is they would try to work out a payment schedule or something.

So basically all of the underdogs. If I take out the dogs, it is going to pay in the hundreds, not the thousands. I think all of those dogs have a good chance... I should have taken Leben out though in hindsight. Well, it isn't my money anyway... just mail me the dollar.

Well the max payout on a parlay on 5d is $250k. If you parlayed all 12 of the dogs on this card... $2.25 would get you to $250k. So you would be wasting $97.75...

If you could actually place that bet, I don't know what the payout would be... I don't know because it is too many numbers for my calculator, but it is over $11million.

You would have to wonder if 5dimes would actually pay out 250k.

I took out all the dogs and added some new ones in and it only pays $135. Weak. If you are going to play the lottery, don't play for $135

Even if it was something like $30K that would be huge for me. $250K would be a complete revolution.

I think if you get a time when there are a lot of card coming up and there are lines for several events... it is feasible to hit one if you choose your bets wisely. But if you hit 8 or 9 of those bets, you would be hedging the shit out of the last few bets, unless you just have brass balls. Because on the last bet on that parlay... it is not a $2.25 bet anymore... it is basically $70k on Shields. Of course if you did it all in one night, you wouldn't be able to cover it anyway. I would be on the phone with the mob trying to get money to cover on GSP.

^^ I have hit several of these things now (usually 4 or 5 fights, not 12)... I even posted a couple that hit that are not included in my YTD tally because I didn't put them in the bets thread. I think I could actually do pretty well just betting mini wisemann parlays. It is fun, satisfies the action junkie, requires low capital, and it is profitable. I used to be against these types of things... but now I accept that there is no "right" or wrong way to do this... there is only what works and what doesn't work for you.
