Question...does Maia have staff on his chest? What is that spot?

Watched the weigh-ins. JDs looks bigger than Carwin, and Carwin is wearing his shoes there... JDS is a lot longer. I am liking JDS more and more.

I expected Munoz to be bigger than Maia, but Maia is a bigger man than Munoz, but Munoz has some tree trunks for legs.

Einemo doesn't look fat to me, and he is also a lot bigger than I thought. He was considerably larger than Herman. The only issue is that he will probably gas. He has the hat trick of gassing: old, hasn't fought in 5 years, huge.

I thought Florian looked like he always does.

JDS allowed nelson to push him against the fence for a decent amount of time. I don't think Mir had a clue on how to defend the clinch along the fence. He did everything wrong from leaning into the punches, trying and failing to control carwins free arm, and not scrambling/accepting where the fight was. However, carwin is a strong dude and I'm sure its not easy to get off the cage when he gets you there.

I don't think Carwin can do the same thing to Dos Santos as he did to Mir. He has alot more to be worried about while trying to close the distance, and how do we know Dos Santos won't shuck him off on those slow shots like he's done before? There is a good chance that Carwin can't close in on dos Santos due to the discrepancy in footwork between them. What seems to be forgotten is how willing Mir was to just let Carwin push him against the cage. We don't know if Carwin could have kept Mir there if Mir especially wanted to be somewhere else.

    JDS/Carwin

I think JDS is the better fighter and I favor him to win. He is a faster, more diverse striker who should have the edge in the standup. Carwins takedowns are slow, telegraphed, and weak. He is mechanical in all his movements and it just looks awkward. His most likely out or method of victory is to use what worked in the Mir fight. Push JDS against the cage and rough him up there. Thats the main reason I have yet to bet on JDS along with my hope that the line continues to improve. Anyone else have an opinion here.

Irvin looked pretty bad. I think Kenflo just looks like Kenflo.

Dos Santos doesn't really look smaller than Carwin. Carwin's bigness is overrated.
