It's fucking awesome, that's the point. The same reason people want to see Silva/GSP. It's not exactly smart matchmaking, but as a fight fan it's certainly a fight I want to see. 2 legendary fighters barely separated in weight going at it, fuck yeah sign me up. I'd go so far as to say that Hendo/Fedor is better than Couture/Fedor that everyone was so excited about. Hendo actually still has a chin.

I think you're missing the point of a superfight, its suppose to be put together because two guys have dominated their competition so long thats its time to see whos the best. GSP-Silva fits that, neither of them really have any legit competition left to fight so put them together.

What if this is for the title? If Fedor wins then SF has Fedor at LHW and Overeem at HW. If he loses, then he'll probably hang it up and they had one last big payday with him.

I'm not sure this is fair. Yes, Fedor has lost 2 in a row--although you have no idea how round 3 would've gone against Bigfoot, especially since Bigfoot was noticeably gassing--but he's still the biggest legend in all of MMA. Seeing him fight anyone is a big deal, regardless of the circumstances.

I've seen people try to lose a lot of weight at the end of their careers before and it usually doesnt work out very well. Fedor is too lazy to get in shape at HW hows he ever going to make 205 and be in top shape is my question
