Seriously though, I like my Ortiz by Dec bet, as I will not be suprised if Tito keeps this standing and is competitive on the striking
I think Cruz will win the Dec the same as he always does, Fabers only real chance imo is to catch him in a scramble. But judges are the way the are, so I took the Cruz by split prop also.

I was thinking ortiz might win a dec as well. I think Bader will probably take it like everyone else does but I give Tito more of a chance than everyone else. He should be performing better than he has in years for this fight, potentially... This is the first time in years he isnt coming in off a surgery or a long layoff. He can definetly win this one. We'll see.

I think Silva is a really bad matchup for Leben.

I'm just thinking Lebens left hand/Silvas chin. If Leben is getting beat and his odds skyrocketed, he could be worth a micro play

I think that if anyone gets knocked out in this fight it's a 85% chance that it's Silva.

Wand has not looked that bad. He was competitive with Franklin and beat Bisping... both of whom are better strikers than Leben. That said, his skills are clearly diminishing. He is 2-5 in his last 7. Leben has never really impressed me, but he has been beaten by straight punchers. Wand basically brawls like Leben, just throwing wild hooks until some goes face down. I think Leben has a great chance, actually, I think he will win.

I think Leben got beat by Bisping soundly for 3 rounds. 30-27

He did, but Bisping is a bad matchup for Leben. He's quick, agile, and he refuses to fully engage.

Bear in mind those five losses were to Cro cop, Hendo, Liddell, Quinton JAckson, and Rich Franklin. 1 heavyweight and four light heavyweights. How many of them would Leben beat? Probably none. I'm not so sure he would beat Jardine and he got shut out by Bisping. Leben can definetly win but I think it is wrong to favor him. He has done alright in his wins but he barely beat Akiyama..and only because he gassed. His win against Simpson was impressive but that is about the only win over anyone impressive and it was Simpsons 8th fight of his career.

Wandy was able to deal with Bispings agility though. Thats why I consider him the superior striker.

Yes. I agree. I was talking about Wand. I am just saying that the guys that have beaten Leben striking (Silva, Starnes, Bisping, Stann) they were all straight punchers. Wand just throws hooks and leg kicks. He may be able to pull Leben into his MT plumb and knee him. I don't know... I think it could go either way. I guess Wand will probably outland Leben with his speed and kicks. But if they start brawling, I am with X, I expect Wand to fall over first.

I think Wand is a superior striker and a superior fighter. But he likes to brawl. I just don't know that this is a good gameplan with Leben. Leben can brawl the shit out of some fools. Wand has a lot of mileage, and he has been knocked out cold several times. We saw with Lidell what happens when brawlers start getting knocked out.
