With Oliveira, I think he needs to get Americanized with his training. I really think that is the difference with a lot of these over seas fighters. They need to start lifting and taking roids and training with a team of guys that can push them. Look at Yushin, he joined up with teat TRT and look at him now. Just a couple years ago, he was getting beat up by Rich Franklin, now a lot of people think he is going to beat Anderson (but not me, I thinik Anderson is going to decimate him). I think Oliveira is a talent, but he should definitely be at 145 and he needs to work his hands some. That said, does anyone think Cerrone would be Lentz? I think Lentz would beat him so I am just confused now. So my only explanation is that Oliveira was off.

As for getting subbed by Miller, Miller is legit on the ground. Had Bendo not been made of rubber, he would have gotten the same knee bar treatment.

If his BJJ sucks, why would you bet him against a wrestler? One would assume wrestlers would feast on a guy with weak BJJ.

lol agreed. fuckin blue belt or whatever he was. Dude is active off his back, but any decent grappler should be able to nullify his jj. Miller subbed him in less than a minute which is pretty sad. Anyways, ill bet him when he faces any wrestler with weak standup and thats about it.

I'm with you on this. Time to get serious.

I think another big problem though lately is that a lot of fighters who really do look like they should win end up losing for some reason. A lot of dogs have been winning lately.

They didn't cut you off, 5 dimes live betting sucks. Bookmaker is where it is at. I made that Lytle in progress bet right when Lytle got the choke @-180

Yeah, me too. I think it was seeing him handle Escudero and Lentz so easily, combined with Cerrone getting beat up by Paul Kelly, that really gave me the confidence that he would win. I didn't realize the size difference, though.

They should bring him along a little more slowly. Why is he already fighting guys like Jim Miller and Cerrone?

He is a bad ass. And it's clear now that the top WEC guys were genuinely good fighters and not minor league rejects.

You missed it last night, though. Luke, PP and I all banded together and dropped 5u on Bendo after the Oliveira loss (or I think Luke had already bet him). Bendo absolutely saved me from having like a 4th shitty night in a row and actually dropping into the hole again. I couldn't believe that shit worked. I already had a small bet on him going into the fight, so I thought he COULD win, but I really didn't expect him, too. Then he went in there and whooped Miller's ASS!

Lytle said beforehand that he was going to stand and bang and that he really meant that. And I guess he really did.

You know he wanted one last FOTN bonus, which he got (undeservedly).

I went ahead and took him for a unit at -600. It was free money. My only regret was not loading up when he was like -350.

    I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about.

Well I sucked again. I have no idea why Hardy tried to box with Lytle, why no leg kicks or knees? Ltyle was diving in the whole time, maybe Hardy thought he would get taken down. Lytle also is a supreme badass on the ground. That sub was instant. 2nd degree black belt? I guess that explains it. Overall I did shitty on this card, I knew I should of bet Hendo by decision. I almost did it too. Starting next ufc, I am doing research and planning out all my plays beforehand. No more of this drunken munkey on the fly betting for me. I can't afford to take another dive. I withdrew a lot of money from my accounts so I am down to like 500 on bookmaker and 400 on 5dimes, or thereabouts. I might just make some big plays and try to build a big bankroll. Yeah well anyways, another shitty week for me. On top of that, I can't place live in game bets on 5 dimes anymore. I wonder if they cut me off. Most of my wins this year were at 5d.

Only two small bets this event. One win and one loss. I have major egg on my face on the Cerrone-Pliveira fight. Just plain got it wrong. Big Time!

Should have stuck to my guns, and made the big play on Benevidez. or made the big parlay bet on Benevidez-Figureoa. But then again, I might have been facing a -500 line in Vegas for Fig.

Side Note. I now have close to a dozen 2 fighter parlays with Vitali being the second leg of the parlay. Just about any single bet I also parlay with him.

    Post card breakdown:

I knew I should have bet on Ludwig. I thought Amir would be able to take him down, and would actually try to do so.

They hype on Oliveira got a little out of control, he is good, but he is only 21. A lot of time these younger fighters seem to be hot and cold. I thought he would be able to handle Cerrone though. I was way the hell off on that one.

Bendo is a beast. I think God might really be on his side. He is probably my favorite fighter to watch right now.

You have to wonder how good Lytle could have been if he actually tried to win fights. After seeing him dispatch Hardy after 5 seconds on the ground, why didn't he try to go to the ground in round 1 and 2? Also Hardy is a scrub and his mohawk is fucking stupid. He should be cut and they should bring back Daley.

You guys were right about Figeroa... I don't regret it too much since he was like -600, but I do regret not taking him at -250 for the Benevidez/Figeroa parlay that was proposed. I also failed by not pullng the trigger on Benevidez/C. Miller. Although, the reason I didnt' was because Cole's propensity for charging in like a bull and getting tagged, which he did in round 1.

I also seriously overestimated CB's grappling. He sucks on bottom, and Hamman is has solid bjj, he was passing and went to knee on belly. He flat out whupped CB's ass. Why didn't you guys tell me? Also, CB's face is so stupid.

I came up with a mild win, I think +.25u. The no longer secret 2011 parlay also rolls on. But you guys have me thinking maybe I should split that side bankroll up now, rather than waiting.
