Palhares is a very good all around grappler, he is not just a heelhook guy. McKenzie is levels below Rocha in grappling ability (I think).

I don't think McKenzie's wrestling or striking are very good at all. His striking looks terrible to me.

Of course he could grab that guillotine... it is not like Rocha is -500 though. I am willing to bet 2:1 that he doesn't get the guillotine choke. He could just win a pressure decision, but I think Rocha will be able to take him down and/or beat him standing. I think they will both be looking to go to the mat though.

Also, riddle is really good from top pisition and really really hard to submit.

I really want to bet benoist but those things are making me doubt
Yeah, Riddle is super strong and solid from top. I certainly won't bet Riddle, was just wondering if there was anything that would make me want to bet benoist. Apparently not though, I guess I won't be betting that one.

By the way, I think it's funny that when you neg somebody it says, "Thanks for deducting from the reputation of this user." The system's like, "Hey . . . 'preciate that shit."

              Wha..?

I just mean, he does not come from a specific discipline where I can look up his cred and bank on him winning in that area

Well unless I read your shit wrong, it sounds like he comes from a strong MT background.

That record is his ammy MMA record. I think he just calls himself a MT striker in the way that most mma guys train MT

His UFC bio says he did get started in TKD, so that should make your dick hard. But then he said, but obviously that wasn't going to cut it, so that will probably make you go limp.

I think 75% of them got started as a TKD, karate or kung fu guy.

But as for the ones who I think really use it in the cage, that list includes: Machida, Makdessi, Ryan Jimmo.

yeah but this was later in life, not like he started as 7 year old. I think he said he went there to get started on his MMA path, like a few years ago.\

                      What about Pettis? Al Hassan?

I really don't know Pettis's background. It's obvious that he does a lot of crazy shit. I think that may be because Duke Roufus includes some unorthodox shit into his training. I know Pettis gave credit to Roufus for the off-the-cage kick.

As for Al Hassan, I know he comes from a TKD background, but I've only seen him fight like twice, and that was a while back. I'd need to see some more fights to make a determination.

Petrezelli's karate background was very evident in his last fight, but I think that's the first time that I had ever really noticed it. For a lot of these guys, where I really notice it is in the way they kick. For Machida, it's the whole package, but especially the way he moves and how he treats MMA like it's a sport karate competition.

I thought I read somewhere that pettis came form a TKD background.

Rocha is @ -165 there, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on that.

Could be. I haven't heard that, but it wouldn't shock me. If true, then I would say yes, you can see some of that influence in the way he fights.
