Just watched Miz/Escovedo.

First round was closer than I was expecting, based on the PBPs.

Miz did work in the second.

I really hope they do everything they can to keep Miz around. He can't beat the top guys in the division, but he's great in a Chris Lytle gatekeeper role to be a test for everyone else.

Watched Kos/Hughes.

I can get arguments on either said saying that Hughes was winning the round or Kos. I basically thought that Hughes was landing more, while Kos was landing harder. Hughes seem to be landing a lot of little annoying shots that would piss someone off, but Kos was landing the more significant shots.

At the end of the day though, Hughes went to sleep and that's all that matters.

If Koscheck stays @ WW give him Charlie Brenneman (if he beats AJ) or Jake Ellenberger...the UFC probably doesn't wanna get rid of contenders so they might match Brenneman/AJ against Ellenberger though

Well Palhares has had his fair share of fighting top-tier comp, like Hendo and Marquardt. Boetsch is just getting started in the division.

I think Boetsch should at least get one more fight against Grove/Ring level competition.
