easiest way to figure that out is divide what you are betting by the amount that will be won ,that will show the odds.

Example 5/4 =1.25 so the odds are -125
if it was 6 units wins 3.5 6/3.5 = 1.71 so the odds are -171

Not sure thats the technical way or not but its how I learned it

^ that's how I do it. If it is + odds just flip it around, divide the second number by the first. If it is 5 to win 6, 6/5 = 1.2 = +120

1 to win 2: 2/1 = 2.00 = +200
