So are there athletic comissions that encourage deducting 2 points instead of 1? Frankly, it would make sense if the goal is to avoid ties, since almost all decisions are won by an odd number of points.

Anyway I pounded the shit out of the live bet condit line.

I got 2u in on Condit at +420 at the end of the 3rd, I though I had gotten 2u more when the line went to +380 at the end of the round but I guess I didn't confirm or it changed? It's difficult for me to watch the action and bet at the same time.

Oh man, tell me about it. That was the best live-betting fight since Jacare-Rockhold. It completely saved my bacon. With that fight capping things off, I ended up about +8u after being down 19. I was losing every single bet before Barao / Jorgensen.

At the time, I did think Diaz had won the first two rounds, though. I was probably influenced by the line movement itself.

If your unit size is $100 or so, your second bet would have been rejected because the most you can bet to win on a single line is $1000. That would have put you at 1600 -- way over. (Condit by decision, on the other hand, was probably still good for a bet.)

Also, the lines do change frequently - invalidating bets, so that might have happened, too.

On many occasions, including last night, I have had my total bets on a single line capped at "to win" $1000, so I have assumed that is the limit.

Here's the weird thing: I just went back through my records and twice I clearly exceeded that limit. Last night, I had bets to win 1.3k on "Koscheck by decision", and earlier I had bets to win 1.5k on "Maia / Weidman ends in round 3". Were the limits on those lines larger for some reason? Or maybe the system is smart enough to total the bets in each category and realize I couldn't win more than $1000 on Kos when I also had money on Pierce and similarly with decision bets on Maia / Weidman? Or maybe it just wasn't working right?

Tell me about it man. I am only down about a unit overall (which the tracker probably wont show), but I felt I should have won the pierce bet and the diaz fotn bet.

Lol leave it to luke to make a smartass comment about that. I couldnt believe I was right around where I was after last weeks Event. Lost 750 on pierce, 350 on nelson, 250 on Jorgensen, 200 on Caceres, and 305 on the fotn prop. I guess I shouldnt complain about it though cause I should have lost alot.
