Yeah, Boetsch's only chance here is to get the KO. I am tallying this bet as a loss already.

I feel like I should put something on Okami at -425, but I hate myself for missing the boat.

Because an 18 hour flight isn't anything to scoff at, especially for an american who usually fights in his own country. Now having to cut weight in a foreign country on top of that 18+ flight can have it's effects.

Yeah, but couldn't you say that for every fighter that's not from Japan?

He's arguably the fighter cutting the most weight on the card aside from Rampage.

Why didn't you jump on it when the line opened?

Probably still worth throwing into a parlay. . .

“I don’t really feel like a middleweight, honestly, especially when I’m making that weight cut. It feels like a long ways away when I first start. It gets more miserable the closer I get. I still haven’t settled in. It’s been a hard cut for me every time I’ve done it and I expect it to be a hard cut again, but I believe middleweight is where I belong. I’ve had some success and I’m looking to keep that success going with a win over [Yushin] Okami and then certainly a shot at whoever’s next in line. I believe I’m a middleweight, but it doesn’t feel very good being there.”

Also think Shields may be another guy who has had a tough cut, along with Bendo.

I guess the fights are several hours closer to the weigh-ins than the fighters are used to, as well. That could have an effect.

I thought of this as well, but it might not be the case. Fighters usually weigh in @ 4 EST and fight anywhere from 7 pm-12 AM EST the next day. Weigh ins last night were at 11pm EST, fights go from 7:30 EST to maybe even 2 AM EST tonight. However...they had to weigh in morning time in Japan, meaning the fighters more than likely cut weight, slept, woke up early to cut more weight, then weigh in..as opposed to waking up in the morning, then having the whole day to cut any weight left over before a late afternoon weigh in

That's fucking weird. At least there are still a ton of cards and Bellator is starting back up.
