COASTLAND is my choice. This gelding looks very good in here since Hamm has a very strong win percent with horses going this distance. Facing a much easier bunch than last time out. Garnered a reliable speed fig in the last race. Can run another good one in this contest. ENTICED BY CHANCE - With a reliable rider who has won at a solid 19 percent rate over the last month. This has to be one of the top selections. His chances to win are much better this time around facing this less demanding field. SHOWTIME BOY - Looks solid against this field and should be one of the front-runners. With one of the strongest riders in terms of profits at the window, don't count this gelding out.

PUDDINGONTHERITZ - Ranks highest in earnings per start. A strong try in today's race will boost the lifetime earnings. MOB BOSS - This front running sort is running a shorter distance today. Should aid his winning probability. TIGERITO - I undeniably see favorable signs for this magnificent animal right here.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 BURNLEY (ML=2/1), #4 SQUALOTORO (ML=3/1), #6 SNAP COUNT (ML=6/1),

BURNLEY - Today's event is 5 1/2 furlongs. Hasn't hit the board in a sprint race in the last couple months. Not the greatest of signs. This gelding garnered a rating in his last race which likely isn't good enough today. SQUALOTORO - 92/87/77, are the deteriorating Equibase speed figures for this questionable contender. SNAP COUNT - The speed ratings continue to sink, 85/79/74. Not a positive omen. A bit of a less than stellar effort when this gelding finished third.

FDD CUPID has a very good shot to take this outing especially at such a decent 10/1. Ought to be given consideration for this event if only for the very good speed fig posted in the last race. Must be given consideration given the class of races run lately. This pony could surprise this field at a nice price. TACTICAL FEATURE - Had one of the most competitive speed figures of this group of animals in his last contest. His chances to win are much better this time around facing this less demanding lot.

READY FOR A FIGHT - Finished outside the top 3 last out at Gulfstream Park, but was within 5 lengths of the winner. Opening at 8/1 makes me think he's got a chance. Gelding took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape. The addition of blinkers usually means that a trainer wants a pony to show more speed or to keep his attention focused. JET WINGS - This horse absolutely loves this track. All his wins have been here at Gulfstream Park. I just may give this one a good shot. Should improve off last race where he did run outside the top 3, but was within 5 lengths at the finish line. This gelding gets a weight break of -5 lbs from last race. Should make the difference in this event. ROUGH DRAFT - Gelding won at this class and distance on Mar 16th at Gulfstream Park. Narvaez brings him back again. I advise you stick with this hot gelding. The improved speed ratings over the last three races is strong. Narvaez drops him in this event ready to win. SELECTO - Each one of this horse's recent finish positions has been progressively better. Cadahia brings him right back. I suggest you stay with this strong horse.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 MINTENON (ML=8/5), #5 READIER (ML=5/2), #4 HIGH LIMIT ROOM (ML=8/1),

MINTENON - This gelding didn't do much for me last time out of the box. This runner hasn't been on the track since Jun 26th. Not even any workouts. READIER - Quite unimpressive speed figure last time out at Gulfstream Park at 5 1/2 furlongs. Don't believe this horse will improve too much in today's event. HIGH LIMIT ROOM - Would have to move up off that sixth place finish last out to make an impact here. This gelding hasn't had any recent good results in short distance contests. Not easy to play him in this race.
