NICE AS PIE - I'm focusing on the class of this mount, and this one is the 'classiest' of the bunch. I sense a pace scenario where the early speed will tire, setting up a perfect situation for her late kick. You have to really like that last race speed rating, 108, which is the highest last race speed figure of this bunch. This horse has increased her speed figs in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is telling me this horse is ready. MALLEYMOO - Horses out of the barn of Brown have been great on the turf. Should perform well right here. In this race here, this thoroughbred has clearly shown signs that she likes the turf. Her speed ratings are the highest in the field for this distance-surface. Always watch out for the longer priced equine when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 OVERSUBSCRIBED (GB) (ML=4/5), #9 BERNIETAKESCHARGE (ML=7/5), #8 ST. BENEDICTS PREP (ML=3/1),

OVERSUBSCRIBED (GB) - I think this morning-line choice needs this race under her belt to start getting back into shape. BERNIETAKESCHARGE - Finished second in her most recent race with a quite unimpressive speed fig. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this field. ST. BENEDICTS PREP - This horse just hasn't looked sharp lately. This questionable contender ran a disappointing speed fig last time around the track. She shouldn't run much better and will probably lose in today's race running that figure.

I like SURPRISE TEMPTATION here. Is worth a close look and may be a wager - strong speed figures (83 average) at today's distance and surface recently. Always seems to be close up at the finishing post. Is difficult not to consider based on speed figs which have been decent - 78 avg - of late. ENFORCE - Is a strong contender based on figures posted lately under today's conditions. May best this group here, showing strong figs of late. CATTAIL COAST - Will most likely be one of the front-runners of the group going into the midpoint of the race. A solid 82 avg class figure may give this gelding a distinct class edge versus this group.

Give the once over to this animal. WELCOME TO AMERICA (IRE) - Trainer D'Angelo moves this animal down in class to face a lower class field. Look for a good race in here. D'Angelo moves this filly to the dirt today. Look for a chance at a big improvement from the most recent race on the grass. IN FACT SHEZA ZASK - Getting a weight break of 5 pounds from last race at Belmont at the Big A on October 25th. Should help in today's race.

Del Mar - Race #5

#2 Lovin' On the Run	She's an honest finisher who wasn't too far out of it in stakes company two starts back, and there should be enough pace in here to keep things honest for her. Dangerous late.
#3 Fancy Facts	Speed gets back over to the turf where she looked pretty good graduating on the front end in August, and she failed to stay late in a tough race on the main track last out. Major concern about the race flow with her style putting her right up top, but there are no arguments with her turf form yet.
#10 Tigerish	She has never run short, but she has tried a handful of pretty tough spots along the way and might be worth a look while turning back with that tactical route pace.
Race Summary	Think #8 Dare to Fly is another player in here with a couple of solid names in her company lines, but Lovin' On the Run looks like the right one with a decent race shape waiting for her.

Del Mar - Race #7

#5 Public Assembly	Bit worried about the way she has been unable to really get past horses late in recent starts, but her better stuff keeps her in the frame today while racing within range.
#4 Will Then	Mild run last out at Woodbine, but she has done some decent work over this turf course and has some obvious upside while returning here today. Better stuff might do.
#2 Mrs. Astor	Wouldn't argue too hard with anyone landing here hoping her reliable and classy form will hold up against this group. She's tactical enough to find a good spot and looks like the one to beat.
Race Summary	Public Assembly has been a touch flat in her recent starts, and I feel like she has some room to come forward today after turning in a couple of works since that try earlier this month.

Del Mar - Race #9

#2 Angelica Bay	She hasn't finished with a ton of punch, but she wasn't overmatched when trying claiming company a couple starts back, and her baseline seems like a good enough fit in what doesn't feel like the strongest race for the level.
#4 Gathered	Forward player has never tried this kind on the turf, but I worry about the way she tends to flatten out late in her races. Feels like she's vulnerable to getting picked up late.
#1 Winika	Not totally sure what to do with this one, as she only went evenly in the debut run on the dirt at Tampa, but I do like the fact that she's up in price off that mild try for this return run. Might be some upside here.
Race Summary	Angelica Bay looks interesting at what might be an OK midrange price today -- she isn't flashy, but her form is honest enough and may fit well here.
