Jacksonville has been the least productive team in the NFL, posting barely 250 yards per game on offense with just over 14 points per game scored. The Colts are coming off a huge game from Andrew Luck and this is starting to look like a viable playoff team. Only one of the five wins has come on the road however and Jacksonville won the first meeting in Indianapolis. Indianapolis still has a very poor rush defense and Jacksonville has endured a tougher schedule at the halfway point. This line is high for a tricky short week road game considering that the Colts were less of a favorite at home when they lost to Jacksonville seven weeks ago. Indianapolis is 5-3 but the wins have come by 3, 3, 4, 6 (in OT), and 3 points as every Colts game has gone down to the wire with the exception of blowout losses in two of three road games this season. Jacksonville has won and covered in four of the last five meetings between these teams and in the first meeting the Jaguars ran the ball with ease against a still suspect Colts defense. Jacksonville is 0-4 at home this season but the opposition has been fierce with three 2011 playoff teams and a Bears team that looks like one of the elite teams in the league. The strong start for Indianapolis has been a great story especially with the issues surrounding head coach Chuck Pagano but the success has been driven by the schedule. Outside of a miracle comeback against the Packers in a very emotional game the wins for the Colts have all come against teams that did not make the playoffs last year and are not expected to make it this year. Through eight games the Packers are the only 2011 playoff team that Indianapolis has played. This will be the biggest game of the season for Jacksonville with an opportunity to host a national TV game against a division rival and the Jaguars have covered in 14 of the last 21 meetings between these teams. Certainly use caution when backing a struggling team like Jacksonville but the value and situation lines up for the home team in this AFC South clash.

The Virginia Tech Hokies are way undervalued heading into this contest with the Florida State Seminoles. Lane Stadium is still one of the toughest places to play in the country, and FSU isn't just going to walk into it and dominate the Hokies in this one.

This is Virginia Tech's national championship after a 4-5 start to the season. This team has had several bad breaks throughout the year, and I have no doubt that it is a much better squad than its record would indicate. Now is their chance to prove it on National TV against a Top 10 opponent.

Virginia Tech is a perfect 4-0 at home this season. It is outscoring opponents 35.0 to 11.0, or by an average of 24.0 points per game. Florida State is just 2-1 on the road, outscoring opponents 26.3 to 18.0, or by an average of 8.3 points per game. Both of its road wins came by 13 points to South Florida and Miami, and it lost to NC State. I believe Virginia Tech is a stronger team than all three of those squads.
