Northwestern has had two weeks to prepare for this game and it certainly doesn't hurt that Michigan stud quarterback Denard Robinson isn't going to play (and if he does, he'll certainly be at less than 100%). The Wildcats are 7-2 straight up and 8-1 against the spread this year. They could conceivably be unbeaten if not for letting fourth-quarter leads get away at Penn St. and vs. Nebraska. Dating back to 2008, Northwestern is 11-4 ATS as a road underdog. I like Pat Fitzgerald's team.

Penn St. owns a 4-0 spread record on the road this season. In their three Big Ten road assignments, the Littany Lions have dealt out three pimpslaps by an average score of 35.6-10.0. They crushed Purdue by a 34-9 count last week. PSU is led by senior QB Matt McGloin, who has 18 TD passes compared to only three interceptions. Give me Penn St. as a road 'dog in a game it has an excellent shot at winning outright.

UL-Lafayette won outright at ULM last week, producing more than 600 yards of total offense. QB Terrance Broadway threw for 373 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 87 yards and another touchdown. Florida is done with its SEC schedule and the thinking here is that it will be flat the next two weeks in non-conference games against smaller schools before taking on FSU in Tallahassee. The Gators have scored more than 27 points only four times in nine games this year. Another factor in this play is that they are banged-up with several key players injured. Give me the huge underdog.
