Robert Ferringo 2-Unit Play. Take #240 Pittsburgh (-12) over Kansas City (8:40 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12) The Chiefs are the worst team in football. By far. And Jacksonville is pathetic, so that is really saying something about the Chiefs. Pittsburgh is red hot and they are finally back home after an early schedule that has taken them on the road in three of the last four weeks. Their last home game was a 15-point win over Washington and I think they can do at least that here. The Chiefs have lost by 18, 10, 28 and 27 points in four of their last four games. So they are getting used to getting blown out behind Romeo Crennel, the worst coach in the NFL. But this play really comes down to one thing: Todd Haley. The new Pittsburgh OC was unceremoniously fired last year by the Chiefs. He is the type of spiteful jerk that will really look to pour it on against his old team and I am sure he wants to run up the score. I think he will do just that and I think the Steelers stay hot.

Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs travel to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh to battle the Steelers Monday Night. The Steelers come home after a big win on the road over the Giants. Get out the peanut butter and jelly. IF...there was ever a sandwich in the history of the NFL; then this is it!! Last week the Steelers rallied to defeat the Giants in a HUGE and must needed road game win. Guess who they play NEXT WEEK? You guessed it: Their BIGGEST DIVISION RIVAL of which they'll be fighting for first place!! Now back to this Monday Night game. Can you make an argument for the Steelers based on talent? Absolutely. BUT in the NFL, laying 12 or 13 points on any occasion is crazy. Doing it in this game will take you to the poor house way too often. Kansas City has been on the wrong end of several disappointing losses through their first eight games to start the season. But they remain competitive. Matt Cassel is coming off of a 65 percent completion performance during their loss to San Diego. Jamaal Charles has 132 rushing attempts for 634 yards and two touchdowns thus far on the season (clock burner). If Kansas City could manufacture points tonight, their defense would give them opportunities to win and steal this game. They rank 12th in total yards allowed, 17th in yards per game allowed, and 11th in passing yards allowed per game. A great example was a game in week five they should have won against the Ravens whom they held to just nine points. LB Derrick Johnson leads the team in tackles with 65 total while Justin Houston leads the team in sacks with 6. Out of Johnson's 65 tackles, 55 have been unassisted ranking him fifth in the NFL in solo tackles. Tamba Hali has added five sacks to the team total of 14. I also believe that a few others things help makes this a play: The pressure of NOT playing in KC has to help them. It's tiring to get booed all the time. Secondly, the National spotlight of playing a premier team on MNF sets well with a team that has stayed close to the final score in many games. Make a play on KC plus the points!!
