This is a good public fade for us with Fairfield as I have them as a top 140 team in my power rankings facing another top 140 team in Providence. Getting 4.5 points is worth it for us even if it is away from home. This Fairfield team nearly beat Providence with the team they had last year so they come into this contest with revenge. Fairfield is top 25 in the nation in free throws and already played a tough team in Lehigh and fell short by 15 points on the road. Now, they face a team that is not as difficult in Providence and with 5 scorers including Needham and Wade this team has plenty of scoring options. Plus, Providence has not beat a team in the top 200 this year as their wins come against NJIT, Bryant and NC Ashville who is a top 200 team who they beat by 5 points in their last game. This will be a significantly harder game for them as this game should be competitive from start to finish. With revenge, a public fade, getting points and the Stags being 6-2 ATS against the Big East whereas Providence is 1-8 ATS against the Metro Atlantic makes this for a solid wager for us with the Underdog today.

The goal is to try to look for inflated lines for us in the NBA. We're going to focus on Unders as we're going to make teams beat us so to speak. We worked on a new model where it values the pace of a game after they come off certain wins, certain losses, revenge angles and their overall play at home this year both at home and on the road (the splits). Given this, we find value and go with such unders. Its something that we've noticed trending when I analyzed the results the last 2 weeks. Having said that, the Lakers and Grizzlies should have a strong defensive game. Both teams come off tough losses. The Lakers lost to the Kings possibly looking ahead to Memphis and Memphis possibly looking ahead to the Lakers lost at home to Denver. Whenever Memphis losses they focus on the defensive side of the ball and it can be argued that the Lakers are still very much of a defensive team even with D'Antoni - see the Brooklyn game for example when they play competitive teams. The Under is 10-3 for the Grizzlies when their opponent scores 100 or more points in their last game and the Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams in Memphis. I like the fact Golden State has revenge against the Nuggets from an earlier season loss here. Plus, the Nuggets come off a big win against Memphis on the road and I can see them having a let down offensively here at home. The Warriors are long and athletic with the likes of Lee and Ezeli from Vandy. The Warriors remember the OT loss suffered to the Nuggets this year and have revenge coming into this game. The Under is 19-9 in the Warriors last 28 road games and the Under is 5-2 in the Nuggets last 7 home games as well.
