3-Unit Play. #517 Take James Madison +8 over George Mason (Tuesday @ 7 pm est)

We cashed our 6-Unit top pick this past Saturday on these Dukes, and here we're going right back to the well with them against conference foe George Mason. Right now James Madison is a hot pick. They have covered seven of their last eight games overall in addition to starting CAA play 3-1. Here is a big chance for them to continue momentum and knock off a known quantity in the Patriots. And while Mason are a tough out at home, a 9-7 record this season suggests this isn't the same dominant conference team as in years past. They already dropped home games to Northeastern and Northern Iowa, two teams that certainly aren't better than James Madison in my eyes. This is a game likely played in the 60s, so there is a lot of value on the underdog and an inflated number here. Plus, the Dukes have revenge on their minds for getting swept last season in the series. Mason has dropped three of its last five overall and are a very mediocre 4-5 in the team's last nine games. The road team is the play here with the points.

Sunday night at home the Lakers defense held the Cavs to under 100 points and the Lakers snapped out of their losing funk. Tonight at home the Lakers will look for back-to-back wins and hopefully another good defensive game. Dwight Howard played on Sunday against the Cavs and made a big splash inside the paint and tonight we hope his pressence does the same. I'm sure Kobe Bryant will be playing defense on either Jennings or Ellis and who ever Kobe guards tonight I see him playing in-your-face "D" all night. Again, with Dwight back in the paint and Kobe playing better defense I see this game staying under the total and we cash 2-straight Lakers under bets.

Both of these teams will be ready to light up the scoreboard after playing Virginia in recent games. The Cavaliers are one of the most mythical teams in the country and thus both of these teams scoring output has been affected. In fact only 1 time in the last ten meetings between these two teams has the final score not gone over tonight's posted number. Wake Forest has been playing much better this year and it was needed in order to save the job on Coach Jeff Bzdelik, as he was just 21-42 entering this season. I do not expect a blowout and I believe that one of these teams will score at least 70 points putting us in great shape to collect with the over. Wake Forest has gone over the posted total in 7 of their last 10 games. Clemson has gone over the posted total in 6 of their last 8 games against teams with a winning record. We will not worry if Clemson can cover this posted number and instead collect with the over.

4.5-STAR Indiana over CHARLOTTE - Charlotte is not a very deep - or good - team to begin with. When playing with no rest and their fourth game in five nights they just don't have a chance to compete. Look for them to struggle at home tonight.
Charlotte has struggled recently in all their attempts at four games in five nights. The Bobcats are 0-9 ATS (-7.6 ppg) since January 25, 2012 as a dog when playing their fourth game in five days.

Charlotte has lost all three of the those coming in, including 100-89 to Boston last night. The 100 points allowed were still one less than expected. The Bobcats are 0-8-2 ATS (-7.4 ppg) since April 24, 2010 as a home dog after a road loss in which their DPA was negative.

Kemba Walker struggled in that game, going just 4-of-16 from the field. The Bobcats are 0-7-1 ATS (-7.6 ppg) since January 10, 2012 at home after a loss on the road in which Kemba Walker shot worse than 33% from the field.

At the other guard spot, Gerald Henderson had just 10 points as well. The Bobcats are 0-8-1 ATS (-8.8 ppg) since December 21, 2010 at home with no rest after a loss on the road in which Gerald Henderson was not the Bobcats' high scorer.

Milwaukee comes in off a 107-96 win against Toronto. They had 29 assists on 40 buckets in that game. The Bucks are 7-0 ATS (13.9 ppg) since February 17, 2009 on the road after a double digit win in which more than 70% of their baskets were assisted.

However, that win wasn't so easy. Milwaukee trailed by 20 points in the first half. Teams following a game where won after trailing by at least 20 points are 64-49-1 ATS. Also, the Bucks are 6-0 ATS (5.0 ppg) since January 22, 2010 as a road dog with at least one day of rest off a win in which they trailed by 10+ points.

Brandon Jennings led a team effort in that game with 19 points. The Bucks are 5-0 ATS (9.1 ppg) since March 20, 2010 on the road after a win on the road in which Brandon Jennings was the Bucks' high scorer.
