Vegas Sports Informer 2 Unit Play. Take #712 Denver -5 ½ over Indiana (9:05 p.m., Monday, January 28) We faded the Pacers on Saturday on the road against the Jazz and cashed and tonight the Nuggets should get the same outcome. Denver has won 17 out of their last 20 home games and the Nuggets tonight should have no trouble at home. Denver is 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games against Central division teams and the Pacers are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 meetings against Denver.
2 Unit Play. Take 2560 LA Kings-135 over Vancouver (10:35 p.m., Monday January 28) With their losing streak to start the season behind them, the Los Angeles Kings will look for back to back wins when they take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Kings earned a 4-2 win over Phoenix on Saturday and will need to get wins tonight and Thursday over Nashville as they will have 8 of their last 9 on the road after that due to the Grammy Awards taking place at their home arena. The Canucks, who have been a bit of a disappointment to start the season come into the contest off a 4-1 loss in San Jose last night. The Kings, despite their bad start to the season have been very good in the spot they are in here tonight. They are 9-2 in their last 11 games when playing with a day of rest, have won their last 4 games played on a Monday and are coming off a first round playoff win over the Canucks last season. Vancouver, who was picked as one of the teams to compete for the Stanley Cup in this short season has really been bad in the situation they are in tonight. They are just 2-6 in their last 8 games against teams from the Pacific Division dating back to last season and have gone just 6-13 following a loss of 3 or more goals. Pair that with the fact that the Kings are 4-1 in the last 5 games in the head to head series and we'll lay the small price with them at home to get the win and give us back to back to back winning nights in the NHL.

Analysis:
I'm laying the points with Denver on Monday night. The Pacers are playing their 4th game in 6 nights and their 7th road game since January 13 - and they have looked a bit worn out in their last 2 games. Getting back on track is not likely to happen in Denver, where the Pacers have dropped 6 of their last 7. Denver has won 10 of their last 13 after tackling the league's most difficult schedule through the first 2 months of the season. The Nuggets have been tearing it up on the offensive end of late and they're averaging nearly 104 ppg on the season. I expect Denver to apply serious pressure on the offensive end, knowing they're catching a Pacer team that's playing their 4th straight road game. Indiana is just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games against teams with a winning home record. Mea‰nwhile, the Nuggets have been serious money-makers against the sluggish pace of the Central Division, going 14-3 ATS the last 17 times against those teams. They're also on a 12-4 ATS head-to-head run with Indiana. I'm laying the points with Denver, my K.O. play on Monday. Thanks! GL! Scott Spreitzer.
