Winning 6 of 7 days, Winning 9 of 12 days, Winning January (+$2560), Winning February so far, 48-32 Run, 34-22 Run, +$4380 Run. Still more work to be done. I wanted to thank you for your patience and trust me in during this up and down season. We have made a strong push this second half of the season and I would not be surprised to see us put together another +$2500 month this month and end the season with a decent profit for our 4th straight winning year in College Basketball.
3-Unit Play. #721. Take UNC Wilmington +8 over Towson (Monday @ 7pm est).
3-Unit Play. #718. Take Syracuse -8.5 over Notre Dame (Monday @ 7pm est).
5-Unit Play. #726. Take Pittsburgh -16 over Seton Hall (Monday @ 9pm est).
Pittsburgh could very well rout Seton Hall today. Sure they come off a big win against Syracuse at home and sure they could have a let down. But, they do have the motivation to play well today given that they have revenge against the Hall from last year's loss to this team 73-66. Prior to that Pitt had covered 5 in a row from the Hall and its a loss that these upperclassman certainly would like to forget. Its a game in which Seton Hall was rightfully favored by 2 points given Pitts up and down season last year. This year, Pitt is 18-5 and is a very experienced squad. This team has covered 3 straight and although it be a bit scary laying 16 points, ironically this was the same spread laid on Depaul for Pitt at home and they ended up winning that game by a score of 93-55. Depaul and the Hall are roughly the same when it comes to most power rankings. Pitt is a top 10 offense and top 20 defense and if the Hall had difficulties against Georgetown and Notre Dame's defense as they lost both games by over 20 points, they will find it difficult against Pitt's defense as the Hall is outside the top 300 when it comes turnover margin. I like Pitt to likely win this contest going away and the motivation is there from losing to the Hall last year and the predominantly junior-senior laden team will likely have success today. UNC Wilmington fell short to Towson by 5 points at home and now has revenge on the road. In a game that is expected total around 130, getting 8 points is not a bad proposition here. Plus, this is a team that has shown some bite beating George Mason at home and hanging tough against Northeastern on the road. Towson is a decent team that comes off a big road win against Old Dominion on the road and I can see them having a possible let down against a team that has the motivation to step up against them today. Towson is outside the top 300 in 3 point shooting and in a see-saw game that will likely be close all the way, the points are nice here with a team that could win this contest outright. Finally, Syracuse needs a big win and what better way to get it than at the expense of Notre Dame. Notre Dame beat this team by 9 last year so that revenge angle is certainly there. And though the public likes the points here with Notre Dame, Syracuse comes off back to back losses and as the team comes off a rare double-digit loss on the road, their first double-digit loss of the season, I look for them to bounce-back and have the revenge angle against Notre Dame from last year. Sure, 8 points seems like a lot for Notre Dame, but then again, remember we took Louisville by double-digits against Marquette yesterday which worked out and Notre Dame is the same team that lost by double-digits to Georgetown at home. So, losing by double-digits to Syracuse on the road who has revenge and who comes off back to back losses is not that of a far cry off.
Indian Cowboy's Picks For NBA Basketball
3-Unit Play. #701. Take Over 192 Orlando vs. Philadelphia (Monday @ 7pm est)
I have always believed that contrary to the public in that when injuries occur, it actually helps the game move at a faster pace than a slower pace. This is because individuals who don't get much of a chance to play such as Nicholson and Harkless for Orlando today will take advantage of the opportunity. With Davis, Affalo and Nelson all questionable for Orlando, I like Orlando's young guys stepping up today on the road against a Philadelphia team that probably is not too excited about playing Orlando's B-team. I think Orlando will be active underdogs today and this is a team that put up 98 points against Milwaukee. Plus, Philadelphia is the type of team when they face lower tier teams games tend to go over. For example, the game against New Orleans at home is a nice example as the game was totaled at 183.5 and the final score was 111-99 or the Toronto game where the game was totaled at 190 and the final score was 108-101 (in overtime), but the game was still at a solid pace in regulation. With Orlando pushing the pace with their reserves, being an active underdog, the over being 7-0 for the Magic following an ATS win and the Over 10-2 for the Sixers when they face a team with a losing road record, let's roll with the Over this evening between these two teams.
Indian Cowboy's Picks For NHL Hockey
3-Unit Play. #7. Take Over 5.5 Goals Vancouver vs. Edmonton (Monday @ 9:35 pm est)
The young Oilers grabbed a lot of attention in the season's first two weeks after winning four of their first five games. The Oilers sit just one point out of first place, meaning that despite any recent struggles they may have had to this point, they are poised to take over first place with a win Monday night. General manager Steve Tambellini hired Ralph Krueger to be the 11th coach in franchise history and the Head Coach has been tasked with taking the young talent the front office has assembled and molding a new generation of champions. This is the youngest and maybe the most entertaining team in the NHL to date. It will be fun to see how this young team develops and plays out this season. If you are looking for a few long shots and dark horses to hop on to this season - take this one for a ride. The Vancouver Canucks still have the key parts remaining intact for the best regular season club in the league. HC Alain Vigneault still has the incomparable Sedin twins and plenty of experienced depth. Oilers Fans in the Rexall Place, Edmonton, Alberta will be in for some exciting hockey in this match-up as the Canucks are a veteran team going against the young guns from ?Oil Country?. Watch the Red Lamp flashes often in a Monday Night Shoot-Out in Edmonton.
2-Unit Pick Take Over (5) Minnesota at Phoenix (9pm, Monday, February 4th)
We have to lay some extra money here to go over a number of five goals that I think is short of where it should be, I made this number at 5.5 with small over money attached. Minnesota afer going out and signing Zach Parise figure to make their offense better. The top line of Parise, Koivu and Heatley has combined for 23 points despite not registering a point in their last two games. The Wild have gone under their last three games all with a total of (5.5) while Phoenix has stayed under in three of their last four games after opening the season with straight overs and you can almost throw out the under in their game holding the leagues worst offense the Dallas Stars to just 17
shots in their last game. Look for Minnesota top line to get going again against a Phoenix team that has allowed four goals or more in five of their nine games this year. I think this one wil be high tempo with plenty of scoring chances.
2-Unit Pick Take #10 Anaheim (-1.10) over San Jose (10pm, Monday, February 4th)
The Sharks are still undefeated in regulation after losing in a shoot out to Nashville which was their third straight game that was decided by the shoot out. One of those shoot out wins was against this Ducks team last Tuesday in San Jose by a 3-2 score in which the Ducks came away thinking they out worked the Sharks holding them to just 18 shots in the game. The Ducks are coming off a wild win at home vs the Kings on Saturday night giving up three leads in that game which is concerning but at the same time shows this group is resilient. I think the Ducks will be looking for payback tonigh going for their third straight win and fourth in their last five games against a older San
Jose team playing their sixth game in ten days. Ten cents is cheap
