          3-Unit Play. #569 Take St. Peter's +13.5 over Fairfield (Thursday @ 7pm est)

3-Unit Play. #515 Take Arkansas State +11 over Middle Tennessee State (Thursday @ 8pm est)

3-Unit Play. #600 Take Northern Arizona -4.5 over Portland State (Thursday @ 8:35pm est)

I've always love taking fairly big underdogs in conference play. It allows us to catch teams who are "getting up" to play other teams. St. Peters is one of those teams today who faced Fairfield at home and lost by 7 points and now look to duplicate that success on the road. Fairfield is easily the better team here but in a low scoring contest, where the total is set around 116, grabbing 13.5 points is fairly significant. St. Peter is also a team that takes care of the ball as they are top 125 as it relates to turnover margin and with Fairfield being outside the top 200 in turnover margin, in a game that is likely to be possession based, it is worth taking the dog here with the points. This is also Conley, Ffrench and Raymond's last go against Fairfield as wells so I expect the St. Peter's seniors to perform well. As per Arkansas State, they upset Middle Tennessee State at home in overtime and although I typically favor teams who have revenge, I still think Arkansas State has shown a lot of grit this year and are likely to do well once again. John Brady's team is 14-8 and is a top 100 turnover team, 8-5 in conference play and their last 3 road losses have been by 13 points which has been fairly impressive. Now, with this team getting nearly that many points at once against Middle Tennessee State is worth it for us to take a team that does not turn the ball over much. Sure, Middle Tennessee State will have revenge and will look to avenge their only loss in conference play of the year as they are currently 12-1 in conference play. But, with a team that turns the ball over as they are outside the top 200 in turnover percentage, with Coach Brady's Arkansas State team being a top 80 defensive team, revenge or no revenge, I believe Arkansas State will get up for this game once again and let Middle Tennessee State know they will be a thorn in their side for some time to come. Finally, Northern Arizona lost to Portland State by 5 points earlier this year by a score of 79-74 and has revenge against them here. Portland State has lost 5 straight conference games since beating Northern Arizona and though this is a team that is not going to blow you away with its offense, they are a possession team and as they have won 3 out of their last 5 conference games, I can see them picking up another winner here as well.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NBA Basketball

          3-Unit Play. #503. Take Chicago +6.5 over Denver (Thursday @ 10:35pm est).

Chicago remembers last year when Denver rolled in and beat them 108-91 in what was a rout. With Boozer and Noah probable for this game and their return on TNT Basketball it makes for the Bulls to be a decent underdog here. Granted, the Nuggets have won 7 straight but the last time they struggled was against a defensive minded team from the East in Indiana in which they were -5.5 favorites and won 102-101. This game reminds me a lot of that game when Chicago coming off a loss as well and this team shows an incredible amount of pride as it relates to bouncing back after coming off a loss. The Bulls lost in their last game to Indiana 101-111 and now they look to bounce-back. The last time the Bulls lost back to back games dated back to December 22nd to December 25th. I like the Bulls on the bounce-back here, with revenge from last year's loss to Denver as these two teams don't see each other and this is a good public fade on the board on what is the one of just two games on Thursday Night Basketball when the public generally favors the favorite and the home team. The Bulls are 7-1 ATS coming off a ATS loss and the Nuggets are 1-4 ATS when facing the Eastern Conference lately.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NHL Hockey

3-Unit Play. #67 Take Los Angeles Kings -105 vs. Nashville (Thursday @ 8:05 pm est)
The Kings have always done well against the Central as they are 9-2 in their last 11 against the Central and 25-8 when allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. Interestingly enough, the Predators are 2-6 in their last 8 games after allowing 2 goals or less in their previous game. The Preds return home to Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tennessee after a lengthy road trip which they closed on a nice three-game winning streak. Nashville ended up with (104) points last year with a team at the start of the year didn't look like they had enough there. Nashville HC Barry Trotz is one of the best in the National Hockey League at getting the most out of his players. The Predators will need a superb effort from their 6-foot-5 Finn Goaltender Pekka Rinne to keep this game close. The defending champs have looked like anything but, notching only three wins in eight games so far in 2013. LA returns almost its entire core of star players - playoff MVP Jonathan Quick, captain Dustin Brown, leading scorer Anze Kopitar, stud defenseman Drew Doughty and versatile second-line forwards in Mike Richards and Jeff Carter. The Kings are (7-3) in the last (10) meetings in this series and (4-1) in the last (5) meetings in Nashville. These Kings became one of the most unexpected and most dominant champions in the history of the Stanley Cup. Kings coach Darryl Sutter has to be excited that few other elite teams made significant improvements this offseason, and the Kings could very well be the first NHL champ to defend their crown in (15) years. Nashville picked up a key two points in Los Angeles during its lengthy seven-game road trip and rest assured the Kings remember that 2-1 loss in a shootout.

Game: Los Angeles at Nashville (8:00 PM Eastern)
                                Pick: Nashville -105 (moneyline)
The Los Angeles Kings are off to a sluggish start following their amazing Stanley Cup run from a year ago. The Kings' playoffs run included 17 of 20 playoff games allowing 2 goals or less, but things have been much different to start off 2012-13. The Kings have allowed 2 goals or more in every game. Nashville has a winning record despite playing seven of their nine on the road, which includes all of their last seven. They come home having taken each of their last three - all on the road. The Kings have faltered against teams that are coming off of scoring 5+ in their previous game at just 3-8 in their last 11. Nashville has been a force at home where they are 25-11 in their last 36. Nashville gets the call.

Game: Arkansas State at Middle Tennessee State (8:00 PM Eastern)
                                Pick: Arkansas State +11 (-110)
Middle Tennessee State has now put together back-to-back 20-win seasons, as they are off to a 20-4 start to this season and are a perfect 11-0 at home. Last year they were denied an NCAA Tournament bid because they lost to this same Arkansas State team in the conference tournament. The Red Wolves have been a thorn for Middle Tennessee as they beat them again this year in a thrilling overtime 6-point win. The Red Wolves matchup well and certainly have the talent to hang in this one, and Arkansas St. has covered their last five vs. a winning team. The Blue Raiders have struggled vs. winning teams, now at 1-7 ATS in their last eight. Take Arkansas St.
