4-STAR MIAMI -11 over Portland - Miami is locked in and that's not a good sign for opponents right now. Portland doesn't have the defensive fire power to limit Miami's which would likely be necessary for them to cover this line. Miami is coming off a 107-97 home win over the rival Lakers. The Heat are 9-0-1 ATS (7.8 ppg) since November 27, 2002 after playing at home against the Lakers. Portland meanwhile lost to the lowly Magic on Sunday, 110-104. Their offense wasn't the problem with 42 baskets in that game and 31 assists. The Trailblazers are 0-10 ATS (-10.2 ppg) since February 08, 2006 as a road dog with at least one day of rest after a game on the road in which the percentage of their baskets that were assisted was at least ten percentage points higher than their season-to-date average. That went along with committing 14 turnovers. The Trailblazers are 0-10-1 ATS (-8.0 ppg) since April 26, 2010 as a road dog with at least one day of rest after a game in which they had an assist to turnover ratio of at least two. When these teams played in Portland in January, the Blazers pulled out a 92-90 win. The Heat are 10-0 ATS (7.5 ppg) since June 05, 2011 when seeking revenge for a loss in which they led by double digits. Lamarcus Aldridge had a big game in that win with 20 points and 15 boards. The Trailblazers are 0-7 ATS (-6.7 ppg) since March 25, 2011 after winning the previous matchup at home in which Lamarcus Aldridge had a double double. SPORTSBOOK BREAKERS PREDICTION: MIAMI 116, Portland 97 4-STAR Oklahoma City and Utah Over - This is an awful low total just because of one very low scoring game from Oklahoma City. Prior to that their last four games all easily cleared 200 points. Look for that streak to start again here. OKC won in unique fashion Monday, 97-69 over Phoenix. In something very rare in the NBA, they committed just seven total fouls. Teams which committed fewer than 10 fouls last game are 36-22-1 OU. Also, the League is 8-0 OU (16.2 ppg) since December 05, 1997 on the road with at least one day of rest after a double digit road win in which they committed at least 10 fewer fouls than their season-to-date average. Russell Westbrook led OKC's efforts in that game with a game-high 24 points. The Thunder are 5-0 OU (4.8 ppg) since April 11, 2012 after a win on the road in which Russell Westbrook was the Thunder's high scorer. That included going 2-of-3 on long distances attempts The Thunder are 5-0 OU (15.6 ppg) since April 11, 2011 after a win on the road in which Russell Westbrook shot better than 50% from the arc. Utah lost on Saturday, 120-109 to Sacramento. The 120 points were 21.25 more than were expected from the Kings. The Jazz are 7-0 OU (14.9 ppg) since April 02, 2009 as a dog after a double digit road loss in which their DPA was at least plus 15 points. Al Jefferson had just 16 of their 109 points in that game. That was after scoring 32 of their 89 points in a loss to Chicago the game prior. The Jazz are 5-0 OU (13.8 ppg) since April 13, 2011 at home after Al Jefferson decreased his scoring by at least 15 points over their past two games.
