                              dime bet 801 LAL / 802 MIL Over 209.0 Bookmaker.com Analysis:
NBA - 801 Los Angeles Lakers @ 802 Milwaukee Bucks

                              Projected Line: 212 points

Milwaukee is coming from a terrible performance last night in Philadelphia, where things got so bad early in the game that Coach Jim Boylan decided to bench Brandon Jennings, who played just 17 minutes. The truth is that during the span Jennings was on the court, the Bucks got outscored by 25 points! I believe Jennings's benching was a wake up call for the Bucks's PG and for the whole team and so, I expect Milwaukee to come fired up to play tonight. They know that the Lakers are also on a back to back spot and they tend to struggle on this kind of games, so I expect Milwaukee to try to set up the fastest pace possible in tonight's game, in order to worn out the veteran Lakers in here. The Bucks will also attempt to set up a fast tempo tonight in order to avoid a repeat of what Dwight Howard did to them early on the season in the game played these two teams in LA, where Howard dominated the Bucks with 14-18 FG, 31 points and 16 rebounds!

I expect the Lakers to struggle on defense today. First of all, they are on a tough spot because they are coming from a game at Minnesota last night that had a ridiculous fast pace (almost 104!) and where Coach Mike D'Antoni only used 8 players! This is especially concerning as the Lakers is a veteran team and so, more prone to struggle physically on tough spots. The Lakers's spot up defense keeps regressing and the Bucks shouldn't have problems in getting open looks tonight to torch the Lakers with treys. On the other hand, Monta Ellis should also take advantage of the slow footed Lakers's backcourt to easily execute his dribble penetrations into the basket, while Ersan Ilyasova should also have an excellent matchup against the slow Pau Gasol. The Bucks have a good ball movement on offense and therefore, they should be able to torch the Lakers's defense with their exterior shooting and with dribble penetrations as well.

On the other side, the Lakers should also have a great offensive game tonight. They won't be able to stop Milwaukee's offense tonight, so they will need to play good offense to stay competitive tonight. Kobe Bryant will have an excellent matchup on offense, as Milwaukee's perimeter defense is horrible and therefore, Kobe should have no problems in torching the Bucks tonight. The same should happen with Dwight Howard, who will have a great matchup, as Larry Sanders may be a great defender, but he lacks the size and power to counter Howard's offensive moves, as seen in the game played these two teams in LA. Therefore, I expect this game to be played at a very fast pace, with both teams playing much better offense than defense tonight. The result of that will be a super high scoring game and so, I'll be taking the Over in here.

dime bet 804 DAL -3.5 (-105) BetOnline vs 803 IND Analysis:
                              NBA - 803 Indiana Pacers @ 804 Dallas Mavericks

Projected Line: Dallas by 7 points

The Pacers had a nice win yesterday at Houston, even though they were shorthanded, but there was a lot of demerit from Houston, who showed that they are very inexperienced. They probably celebrated their win over San Antonio too much and so, they came to yesterday's game with no sense of urgency and without a proper game plan. Indiana simply crushed them down low with Roy Hibbert having a huge game with 11-17 FG, 28 points and 10-14 FG from 9 feet or closer to the basket! But I have also to mention that some of his baskets were lucky shots as well. Indiana also explored Houston's lazy transition defense quite well in order to have layups and dunks. As good as James Harden is on offense, he is a defensive liability and the player who Harden was supposed to defend had a field day because of that: Lance Stephenson had 9-14 FG and 21 points! From a defensive point of view, Indiana was... Indiana! They are awesome in rim defense and also in 3pts defense, something that they showed once again last night. Houston's offense is built around those two areas and they were stopped by the Pacers's defense. This is why I successfully took the Under on last night's game.

For tonight, on the other hand, I expect Indiana to struggle. Not only they will have a bad spot, as they will play their fifth game in seven daÌys, including their win at Houston last night, as Dallas is also a tough matchup for them. Dallas's defense is far from the level of Indiana's defense and their main problems at the PG position. On their last game against the Clippers, Chris Paul did whatever he wanted to do with 12-15 FG, 33 points and 5 assists, while exposing the Mavericks's defense on this area. Fortunately for Dallas, George Hill is banged up and he shouldn't have played against the Rockets last night. He wasn't physically well and that's why he shot 1-11 FG in 38 minutes yesterday. Today, I don't expect Hill to suddenly recover and so, I believe Dallas won't get torched by their opposing PG this time. As I've mentioned several times in the past, Indiana's outside shooting is very inconsistent and it tends to get really cold on back to back games. This is why they are just shooting 36% FG from 16-23 feet and 30% treys on the second night of a back to back this season. Both David West and Danny Granger will return tonight, but I believe this won't be great news for them today, as the Pacers will need one or two games to establish their identity once again with these returns.

On the other side, Dallas's offense will actually be a tough matchup for the Pacers's defense than Houston was last night. Houston's frontcourt doesn't have anybody who is a solid mid-range shooter in order to remove the Pacers's frontcourt players from near the basket. So, Roy Hibbert didn't need to move yesterday from near the basket and he spent the game just contesting shots at the rim. That won't happen tonight with Dallas, who has Dirk Nowitzki back in good form, Elton Brand and Chris Kaman, three frontcourt players with solid shooting skills from mid-range. As I've mentioned previously, Indiana's defense is built to protect the rim and the 3pts shots. They want their opponents to shoot from the 16-23 feet area, generally the area where offenses are least efficient. The problem for Indiana tonight is that Dallas is one of the best shooting teams in the league from that area with 42.7% FG (#3 in the league). Their recent numbers have been even more amazing with 46% FG from 16-23 feet on their last 10 games! Indiana's defense is just #21 in the league on 16-23 feet defense and therefore, I expect Dallas's mid-range shooting to torch them tonight.

I believe that we have some considerable edges for Dallas tonight. Unlike Houston, Dallas is an experienced team and they will come to this game ultra focused, as if they win tonight, they will finally reach the .500 wins mark with a 36-36 record. Therefore, I expect a comfortable win for the Mavericks tonight and so, I'll be taking them in here.

                              Pick: 3 units (Single Dime Play) on 804 Dallas Mavericks (-3,5) @ -105 / 1.95 on Betonline

                              dime bet 805 SAC -2.0 (-110) Bookmaker.com vs 806 PHO Analysis:
                              NBA - 805 Sacramento Kings @ 806 Phoenix Suns

Projected Line: Sacramento by 5 points

There is a big difference between these two lowly teams when it comes to competitiveness on this part of the season. Phoenix's tank job has already started on their last game at Utah yesterday, with the Suns not playing Goran Dragic even though he was healthy and ready to play. And it looks like this decision will be extended for today's game:

Dragic, who leads the Suns with 14.4 points and 7.2 assists per game, was told Tuesday night that he would not play Wednesday but did not know if he was playing Thursday night. Suns interim coach Lindsey Hunter said Dragic would not play either night to rest him, provide opportunities for rookies Kendall Marshall and Diante Garrett and prepare Dragic for his summer with Slovenia in the European Championship.

“If you ask me personally, I would play,” Dragic said. “That's why they make the decision.

“I can play. I’m in great shape. There’s always pain and bruises but you can always play through that.”

Of the timing with a game at Utah, Hunter said, “That’s not my concern.”

“If you’ve seen him after games, you see how he looks like he’s been boxing,” Hunter said. “He’s been through a lot this year, little nicks and bruises, but he just fights through it so I think it’s good for him.

“We know we’re not making the playoffs and he’s logged a lot of minutes and played phenomenal for us. He’s going to have a long summer playing ball so he has a lot to do. We’re aware of that and his well-being. We don’t want him to totally be run down.”

And what about Sacramento? Well, they've just defeated Golden State on the road last night! Prior to that game, they almost defeated Denver on the road, something that shows that even though the Kings are a young team and they are unfocused at times, they are still trying to win games. Sacramento in healthy and their second unit is actually decent in comparison to the other lowly teams, as they have Patrick Patterson, Chuck Hayes, Marcus Thornton and Toney Douglas! We aren't talking about scrubs, while the same doesn't happen with Phoenix's poor bench. Without Dragic playing, Phoenix has a huge offensive problem. Rookie Kendall Marshall is having his opportunity to shine, but he is a very raw shooter. He is a good passes, but he is still far from being at NBA level, as he's shown yesterday with 5 turnovers. Therefore, we will have a clear edge for Sacramento at the PG position today with Isiah Thomas, who is coming from a game where he simply outplayed Stephen Curry!

Sacramento is continuing to shoot very well from long range and despite their questionable defensive effort tonight, I believe there is a considerable gap of talent between these two offenses, something that will result on a comfortable win for the Kings tonight. Phoenix's perimeter defense has been awful all season long and that will be the kiss of death for them against a red hot Sacramento. Therefore, I'll be taking the Kings in here.
