Evansville is the better team and they have showed it over their past couple games.They are top 30 as it relates to turnover percentage which is a key factor that you look for in teams that are unfamiliar with each other. This is a team that is top 90 both in offense and defense and has already beat two top 150 teams of late including Eastern Kentucky and Canisius by 10 and by 1 point on the road. The win over Canisius was a huge win for this team as they went on the road to win that contest 85-83 and as they face East Carolina today, who is outside the top 100 in turnover percentage, and a team who is yet to beat a top 100 team this year, this makes for a good spot for Evansville to pick up the win away from home today. The Purple Aces are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games and the Pirates of East Carolina are 15-37-2 ATS when facing a team with a winning percentage of less than 40% at home overall.

Sacramento can do two things really well: It runs a fast-paced offense and when the shots are falling, they are incredibly difficult to beat. The Kings also have one of the best rebounding teams in the league and that prowess allows them to hang around in games against superior teams. When both of those areas are on, the Kings are a tough out. Los Angeles has lost three straight in Sacramento. There's an old adage in sports that you either get better, or you get worse. You never stay the same. In respect to Los Angeles, they have never been able to sustain any momentum due to this aging teams' injury concerns. Their latest rash of injuries may have put their postseason hopes in jeopardy. Metta World Peace is out, Steve Nash is doubtful and Kobe Bryant is listed as probable for this game. The Kings have scored (110.3) per game over their last (16) contests. They could maintain that pace against a Los Angeles defense allowing an average of (113.0) points on a four-game road trip which ends Saturday. This is a good late night public fade and this is a Sacramento team that is playing well right now beating Phoenix and Golden State on the road in their two game trip away from home and have covered their last 4 out of 6 overall.

The Sharks are playing their best Hockey of the season. They lost to Phoenix 1-0 at home in Feb. despite out-shooting them 33-21. San Jose was held without a power-play opportunity Thursday for the fourth time in franchise history. The Sharks are 3-0 in their very next game. Having said that, make that 4-0 today as they look for revenge against Phoenix at home. Public favorite or not, the Sharks have motivation tonight as Phoenix comes off a rare 7-4 win over Nashville on the road and this is a good spot for them to have a let down and the Sharks to pick up the victory.

3-Unit Pick Take Over (5) New York at Montreal (7pm, Saturday,March 30th)
The Rangers are a tricky team, they have a ton of talent that is inconsistent. Two games ago the Rangers go into Philadelphia and put five goals on the board only to be shutout in their next game at Ottawa. The one difference there is the Senators defensive game is head and shoulders better then Philadelphia, while Montreal defense is also much better then the Flyers their offense is better then both the Senators and the Flyers so the Rangers will get tested more tonight. These two have already played twice this year with Montreal winning both games by scores of 3-1 and 3-0 with both staying under the total. I do however think the Rangers offense will be in full gear tonight after their coach laid into them in Friday practice and had a heated conversation with Marion Gaborik. The Rangers are the lowest scoring team in the NHL which clearly shows something is wrong because this team has talent, this number however reflects how the Rangers have been and with New York backup Martin Biron in net I think we have good value here, go over.

2-Unit Pick Take #5 Carolina (+1.30) Over Winnipeg (3pm, Saturday, March 30th)
These two just played in Carolina last Tuesday with Winnipeg winning 4-1 in a game that I give more credit to how bad then how Winnipeg played. Both teams followed that game with losses with Carolina going to Toronto and losing 6-3 while Winnipeg went into Pittsburgh and was just over matched losing 4-0. I don't think either team is "right" but the Jets haven't played well at home this year but yet their priced high this afternoon against a Carolina team that is starting to have time as their biggest opponent in the playoff race. This is a HUGE game for the Hurricanes and I think we will see that type of effort from them this afternoon.
