Analysis: The Wizards have incentive to win 30 games and get revenge for an embarrassing loss to the Nets last month.

Brooklyn, though, ha ªs nothing to play for after being upset by Toronto on Sunday. The Nets are locked into the No. 4 seed. Their goal going into the playoffs is getting healthy. That means resting players. So don't expect Gerald Wallace or Deron Williams to see many minutes if they even play at all.

This is what Nets coach P.J. Carlesimo said after Sunday's loss to the Raptors: "We don't need to get anybody hurt. We're not playing for anything. Going forward now we've certainly got to rest some people."

With John Wall playing well, the Wizards certainly are capable of pulling the outright upset against the disinterested Nets.

Analysis: ªThe Bulls have owned the Magic - as have most teams this season - and still are playing for playoff seeding with a chance for the fifth seed. So Chicago can't afford to slip up against the lowly Magic.

The Bulls should be reinforced for this matchup. Richard Hamilton is back from a one-game suspension, Taj Gibson is expected back after missing eight games and Joakim Noah is in the lineup for the second time in 14 games.

Chicago has defeated Orlando in eight of the past nine meetings, including the last four. The Bulls are 21-8 ATS in their last 29 road games versus foes with a home winning percentage of less than .400. Orlando has failed to cover in14 of its last 20 home games.

*3 Star MLB Moneyline Value* The Chicago White Sox have only won one game on the road so far this year (out of 6). Toronto isn't off to a very good start, but I expect the Blue Jays to be a good team before it's all said and done. Mark Buerhle has had two very bad starts to start off the season for Toronto, but history tells us he should bounce back here. Buerhle is a very competitive guy who responds well in big spots, and he'll face his old teammates here. I think that helps him a lot more than them. Chicago is 5-21 in their last 26 as a road underdog. Take the Blue Jays.

*4 Star MLB Play of the Day* The St. Louis Cardinals have a much better lineup than the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates have struggled to score runs most of the year, and they don't have a good history against Lance Lynn. Lynn has an ERA of just over 1 at PNC Park. James McDonald has been hit hard by Yadier Molina and overall St. Louis has fared well against him. At nearly even money, I can't pass up the much better team here. St. Louis is also coming off a tough loss, and I expect them to be focused and looking to bounce back right away. The Cardinals are 15-1 in Lynn's last 16 starts against the NL Central. They are 5-0 in Lynn's last 5 starts in game one of a series. The Pirates are 0-4 in McDonald's last 4 against the NL Central. Take St. Louis.

*3 Star NBA Total Domination* The Houston Rockets have been the fastest paced team in the NBA for the season, but the Phoenix Suns have actually been playing faster than them over the last couple weeks. Lindsay Hunter's team doesn't have anything to play, and they aren't playing any defense right now. The Suns have been giving up points in huge bunches, and Houston can pile up the points. This game definitely means something to the Rockets who are trying to improve their playoff seed in the Western Conference. I had this one pegged at 215 points. Take the over.

The season for the Kings have been marred by the uncertainty surrounding the future of the franchise and while it will be another losing year for the Kings, there have been some signs of promise in the first season under Keith Smart. Sacramento can do two things really well: It runs a fast-paced offense and when the shots are falling, it is incredibly difficult to beat. Rarely do both of these areas click at same time. The Kings' defense has been a season-long issue as they're surrendering (109.9) per game over the last (30) games and a league-worst (105.8) overall. Superstar Kevin Durant returns to the Thunder team and even though it would be hard to improve on his stats from last season, He is poised to once again be one of the Top 5 in the quest for the 2012-2013 Scoring title. With the addition of Kevin Martin, also an outstanding scorer who was acquired during the trade, the Thunder look to make another run at an NBA Championship. The Thunder have a scoring average of (105.8) points per game while allowing an average of (96.6) points per game to their opponents. OKC lost their last home game to the New York Knicks (125-120) and with the Kings having just been involved in a track meet at Houston last night and the Thunder home waiting - Blow Out! The Thunder are (24-9) ATS in their last (33) home games, (8-3) ATS in their last (11) Monday games and (6-1) ATS in their last (7) games overall.Though the Kings have revenge, and have covered the last couple, with the Spurs losing last night to the Lakers, I suspect the Thunder will look to end the season strong and plus its a small public fade who is on the underdog and the bounty of points here. Let's roll with the Thunder at home.
