The Indiana Pacers are going to pull off the upset in this series. I'm going to continue to back them in Game 3 tonight as they take a 2-1 series lead on the Miami Heat.

Remember, the Pacers took a 2-1 series lead in the playoffs against Miami last year before losing the last three. Also, the Pacers have won two out of three against the Heat this season. They simply match up well with Miami considering Paul George and Lance Stephenson are two of the most underrated defenders in the league.

Both George and Stephenson can check Lebron James and Dwyane Wade as well as anyone in the NBA. Plus, the Pacers have a big edge inside with Roy Hibbert and David West. They can exploit Miami's biggest weakness, which is its interior play.

Indiana is 36-11 SU & 28-19 ATS at home this season. The Pacers have not lost in the playoffs at home, going 6-0 SU & 6-0 ATS in six playoff games. I'll gladly put my hard-earned money on the Pacers as an underdog at home tonight in Game 3.

At 8:35 pm, on Sunday, our selection is on the 'under' in the Miami Heat/Indiana Pacers Game 3, as it falls into two Playoff Totals systems of mine that are 11-0 and 84-45. The oddsmakers have moved up the Game 3 number two points from the Game 1 closing number, and I feel that move is the wrong one. Indeed, Game 1 finished with a 103-102 score only because it went into overtime. And but for Paul George's lucky shot to tie the game with 0.7 seconds left, it would have finished 92-89, and 'under' the total of 181.5 points. Miami has gone 'under' 60% of the time on the road off an upset home loss since 1991. Additionally, when the line is greater than 175 points, NBA Conference Final games have also gone 'under' in 23 of 32 when the road team is off an upset loss. This will be a slow, defensive game, especially in the first-half. Paul George has been the primary defender on LeBron James and has done a very good job. Indiana plays its best defense at home and will be sky-high for this one. The Pacers out-rebounded the Heat 55-36 in the first meeting here in January, and Miami shot just 41% while Indiana shot 36 percent. That was a season low in points for the Heat going UNDER the total by 23 points. In that meeting Miami was limited to one fast break point to Indiana's five. In the rematch a month later, Miami had six fast break points, the Pacers 12, as both teams dictated tough defense and a slower pace. With even more at stake now the pace will be even slower, and you will see a monster defensive effort from both sides. The Pacers are 37-17 to the first-half UNDER following a win this season. Take Indiana and play the first-half UNDER.
