Analysis:
The Giants certainly have played better ball, but I'll take them in this spot at this price with the superior starting pitcher.
Madison Bumgarner has held Arizona to just one run and eight hits in 14 1/3 innings this season. He has a 3.08 lifetime ERA versus Arizona in 11 games, including 10 starts. The Giants are 7-2 in their last nine games in the desert. They also are 41-19 in their last 60 games after scoring two runs or less in their previou s game. The other part of this handicap is a fade on Arizona starter Trevor Cahill. He's had issues with command while posting a 5.68 ERA in his last three outings.Comment
