What a job done by Baltimore 6th year HC Harbaugh who, in his 5 previous seasons, is the only NFL coach to take his team to the Playoffs every year. That of course culminated with the Superbowl Championship last year. Keyed by the emotional return of now retired Ray Lewis, the Ravens are the only team in memory to wear the crown despite being outrushed and outgained for the season. Losses are hefty, especially on defense for a defending champ who will wear a target on their back the entire season. And don’t expect much action from highly paid QB Flacco who will be kept under wraps until later in August. In his first season, Tampa Bay HC Schiano led the Bucs from a 4-12 SU, ATS in 20-11 to 7-9 SU, 9-7 ATS in 2012. Schiano proved he understood the Pro game by fielding a team that outrushed the opposition for the year by 115/4.4 to 83/3.5. But this team figures to be hungry in August after a 1-5 SU, ATS finish in which they allowed 28 points per game. That hunger could well be on display opening night against the defending Champs.
