Reason For Pick:
I'm playing on KC and Philadelphia to finish UNDER the total. I'm well aware that the new Eagles' offense is playing very quickly and that they've been tough to slow down. However, everyone else is too and I believe that this number has climbed a little too high.
The Eagles first game was against Washington, a team which has some defensive issues and which had given up 38 in its first game. Their second game came against San Diego, a team which had also given up more than 30 in their other game. Now, they'll face a team which is allowing an average of nine points per game.
While the Eagles have seen both games finish with at least 60 combined points, the Chiefs have seen both their games finish below the 34 mark. Last week, they limited the Cowboys to 37 rushing yards. The previous week, they held Jacksonville to 178 in total. The Jags' only points came on a safety. In other words, the defense is playing pretty well.
Bottom Line: I do think this will likely prove to be KC's highest scoring game yet. However, the way the Chiefs are playing defense, I still think it has a better shot at finishing with less than 51, than I do with more. 9*
