Memphis over *Dallas by 13
This marks the Mavericks' third game in four days and second in two nights. That
could mean reduced means for aged veterans Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter and Shawn
Marion. Memphis gave up an average of 12 points per game less than Dallas last season and can
take advantage of the Mavericks' soft middle with rugged Marc Gasol
and Zach Randolph. MEMPHIS 99-86.
Houston over *Utah by 5
Dwight Howard may have his hands full with youthful big men Derrick Favors and
Enis Kanter. The Jazz, though, don't have the scorers to keep up with James Harden
and Chandler Parsons. Harden has become a superstar since leaving Oklahoma City.
HOUSTON 105-100.
***BEST BET

Spurs winning by eight and losing by three.
PORTLAND 110-102.
*Golden State over Sacramento by 8
The Kings nipped the Warriors, 91-90, at home when they met in a preseason matchup 11 days ago. This is the Kings' first regular season road game.
