PLAY: SAN FRANCISCO
RATING: TRIPLE DIME PLAY
You’ve heard me say it over and over …No team is as good as their best performance nor are they as bad as their worst performance. New Orleans is coming off their best performance and it was oŠn National TV on Sunday Night Football. Off of that one win people now are penciling them into the Super Bowl and with San Fran losing to Carolina last week now people are questioning if San Francisco is still a top team. I mean prior to losing by 1 point last week San Fran had won 5 in a row scoring 30 or more in all 5 games they got beat by a very good Carolina team that plays great defense. Because of the Saints 32 point win and San Fran’s loss we are getting line value here with the 49ers. Let’s not forget that was a perfect situation last week for the Saints they were at home on a Sunday Night Game. The crowd was rocking even louder than normal because it was a night game in the dome. They caught a Dallas club that was not very good defensively as Dallas had been giving up a lot of yards this year especially to good passing teams. Let’s not forget the Rob Ryan factor as he had a huge chip on his shoulder to show up Jerry Jones for firing him last year. One he was motivated to have his defense shine and two you know he also lent a hand to the offensive coaching staff when devising a game plan on how to attack the Dallas defense last week having coached that unit the year before. I know this is the 49ers but there is just no way the Saints can match that intensity this week. This week the Saints offense will face a real defense as the 49ers have held 5 of their last 6 opponents to 17 points or less with 4 of them to 11 points or less. Prior to running into Carolina’s great rush defense the 49ers had run for 149 or more yards in 5 straight contests. I believe San Fran will be able to run the ball on this Saint defense and the best way to keep the Saints from scoring is keeping them off the field with long drives and San Fran will do just that. San Francisco wins this 27-20.Comment

$2100.00 -105 Take #405 New York Jets (+1.5) over Buffalo (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17)
This play is from the NFL 411 System. The Jets just signed Ed Reed. He is not going to play in this game but it sends a message to the rest of the team: we are pushing for the playoffs. The Jets dominated the Bills in the first meeting and have gone 5-1 ATS in their last six trips to Orchard Park. Buffalo played some teams close earlier in the year but they are on a 0-3 ATS slide. Buffalo's quarterback situation is a mess. The Jets quarterback play is improving. New York is coming off a bye week and they are going to be rested and ready in this one. The Jets have the edge on defense, quarterback and special teams and they will get the outright winner today.
$2000.00 -110 Take #426 New Orleans (-3) over San Francisco (4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17)
The Saints are unbeatable at home. They dominated another opponent last week when they routed the Cowboys. I think they can post another double-digit win here over sagging San Francisco. The 49ers came off a tough loss to Carolina. That was a physical game. Now the 49ers have to go on the road and on turf against a hot team. The Saints still have revenge for a playoff loss at Candlestick back in January of 2012. And San Francisco denied revenge last year with a 31-21 win in the Superdome. But this Saints team is better than they were last year at this time. Sean Payton is back and the Saints are clicking on all cylinders. New Orleans in a walk.
$2000.00 -105 Take 'Under' 46.5 Baltimore at Chicago (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17)
I think that this game will be dominated by the defense. The Ravens and Bears have built their identities on strong, stingy defense and that is what we are going to see in this one. Chicago's front four is finally starting to get some pressure. And Baltimore's offensive line has struggled all season long. The Ravens secondary should push around the Bears wide receivers. And both of these teams are coming off emotional games last week against division rivals. The Ravens won in overtime. The Bears lost on a missed two-point conversion. This game won't have the same energy. Look 'under'.
$600.00 -105 Take #404 Tampa Bay (+1.5) over Atlanta (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17)
These are two teams at the bottom of the NFC. But Tampa Bay is coming off its first win of the season and they are still playing hard. Greg Schiano is still trying to coach to save his job. And the Bucs have been playing better and better each of the last three weeks. The Falcons have had to deal with injuries all season long. They just put Sam Baker on IR and the offensive line has no help coming. This team is already looking ahead to next year and the talk around Atlanta is about whether the Falcons should start tanking games. Tampa Bay has revenge and they are more motivated in this one. I will play along with the books in this game and look for the home team to get another win.Comment
