4 Unit Play. #527 Take Central Michigan Chippewas +18 over Dayton Flyers (7 pm) Dayton is just getting too much love since they went to Maui and beat Gonzaga. Good for them, but they also lost to Illinois State and struggled to put away Delaware State. Central Michigan is 6-3 on the season and all three of their losses were below tonight's posted number. We will take these points, as it is just too big of a cushion.
6 Unit Play. #564 Take Kansas Jayhawks -5.5 over New Mexico Lobos (7 pm ESPN 2) The Jayhawks seem to be coming apart at the seams but in reality they are just a young team that is facing a difficult early season schedule. Kansas is due to pound somebody and this Lobos teams will be in a rude awakening on Saturday night. This game is being played in Kansas City giving a huge home crowd edge to the Jayhawks. New Mexico has yet to record a quality win on the season (Cincinnati is not a quality win) and they are a completely different team when play away from the Pit. Even last year when New Mexico had a gaudy record they did not score a ton of points and lost to Harvard, a No. 14 seed. Kansas has a major edge in talent and if they play like they did in the second half against Florida they will win by double digits. New Mexico is just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 nonconference games. Kansas shot the ball well from long range against Florida and Andrew Wiggins put forth a dominating performance. Coach Self knows the importance of this game and you can be sure he will have this team ready to go. I just cannot see Kansas losing this game straight-up and I really do not believe it will be close.

2 Unit Play. Take #521 Arizona +3 over Michigan (12:00p.m., Saturday, Dec 14 CBS)
Thought this game would be a solid 'Pk' game so when the No. 1 in the country is getting plus
points I had to jump on them. The Wildcats are a well-balance team with guys that score at will
and if Arizona gets hot early this game could be out of reach in the 2nd half. Michigan is 0-5 ATS
following a SU win and the Arizona Wildcats are 5-1 ATS against Big 10 teams.
5 Unit Play. Take #577 Over 142 ½ - Illinois at Oregon (9:00p.m., Saturday, Dec 14 ESPN2)
(Total Game of the Week)
These two teams combine for a 17-1 record and tonight in Portland I see offense being the key
for both squads. Yes I know the Fighting Illini defense is outstanding and the Illini are holding
opponents to an average of 59.3ppg. To bad the Illini hasn't face an offense like Oregon! Illini
offense hasn't been too bad as of late scoring 72 points against Dartmouth (game went over) and
81 points against Auburn (game went over).
The Ducks on the other hand have hit the century mark 3 times in their last 7 games and if the Ducks run early this game easily hits the over. If this
game was in Illinois I probably would have passed but since this game is pretty much a home
game for Oregon (in Portland Oregon) the Ducks will control the tempo and push the ball and force
Illinois to score with them. Illinois is 6-2 O/U in their last 8 Saturday games and the Ducks are 8-0
O/U in 8 non-conference games and the Ducks are 13-3 O/U in their last 16 games.
